Xiangxi local literature is the literature category which has the Xiangxi local characteristics and Xiangxi ethnic minority characteristics, showing the cultural characteristics of Xiangxi region and the spirit of ethnic minorities. Local literature has an indispensable position on the local construction and plays a catalytic role on the unity and development of the nation and plays the role of inheritance and ties on the local culture of prosperity. There are historical reasons and cultural reasons about Xiangxi's mysterious. Through the interpretation of Xiangxi local literature, we can understand all aspects of Xiangxi. This article reveals the local literature of Xiangxi in the form of recitation, which is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction, This part is about the writing purpose,significance, research contents and methods. And analysis the predecessor's study about local literature and Xiangxi local literature research, then give reviews.The second chapter is theoretical part. It is an overview of Xiangxi origins,categories and characteristics of local literature. Through the analysis of the history and ethnic culture characteristics of Xiangxi, then I conclude its regional and cultural characteristics.The third chapter is the local chronicles,the local chronicle is divided into old and new records, with the founding of new China as a dividing point. The purpose is to analysis local chronicles's writing content, author,writing background, in the form of summary.The fourth chapter is the other categories about Xiangxi local literature, which is divided into historical geography, culture and education, natural resources and historical sites. This part of the Xiangxi local literature, more representative of the Xiangxi regional culture, highlight the Xiangxi history and cultural characteristics. This chapter reveals the purpose, main contents, advantages, shortcomings and characteristics of the literature in the form of abstracts.The fifth chapter is the literature of the famous writers of Xiangxi. The first two sections describe the works of Shen Congwen and Huang Yongyu respectively. The last section introduces the works of other local writers in Xiangxi. This chapter reveals the purpose, main contents, advantages, shortcomings and characteristics of the literature in the form of abstracts.The sixth chapter is Xiangxi's characteristics research of document.There are literatures on Xiangxi music, sports literature, literature research of the western part of the Xiang Dynasty, Wulingshan area research literature and Xiangxi Tujia and Miao nationality research literature. This chapter reveals the purpose, main contents,advantages, shortcomings and characteristics of the literature in the form of abstracts.The last chapter is the future of Xiangxi local literature research, hoping to provide some reference for the study of literature and literature in Xiangxi local literature in large data environment.
