From the classroom to the scenic spot, the field to the studio, the lens to thescreen, and the work to live...... the dissemination activities and verbal languageexpression of the verbal language workers are inseparable, Whether the expressionsare rational or not, it directly affects the effectiveness of information dissemination.As an important group of verbal language workers, the creative subject ofbroadcasting and hosting still struggle to find the effects and breakthrough innovationof the language to express and disseminate verbal on backstage, and speech rate is oneof the most important breakthrough and overlooked part, and it is a direct result to ablind spot for the professional quality body forms of the creative subject ofbroadcasting and hosting. So it is the inexhaustible power for the research.The speechrate of the broadcasting and hostings’ creative subject with verbal languageexpression", which can turn the blind spot to highlight, the problem to approach, andmake the creative subject of broadcasting and hosting be"less involvement", and letthe audience receive information"suffers less", and do the program contents"lessdamage".According to read literatures and search data from program, film and television,the author counts and calculates the speech rate; and researching the museum ofChinese media and Chinese film museum, inquiring a glimmer of senior expertannouncer host, dubbing and explanation. With application practice frommeteorological show host and technology route of the audience questionnairefeedback, this paper falls into the following five parts:The first part: It mainly introduces that the audiences who are eager to haveinformation increases gradually, whereas the speech rate of media dissemination ofinformation is growing in the background of the rapid development of social economy,and the hotting up competition between traditional media and new media. It definesthe definitions and the elements of the creative subject of broadcasting and hosting,and explains the general situation of the spoken language expression and theuniqueness of the style for creation subject of broadcasting and hosting to express, also includes many existing problems in the verbal language and the adverse influenceon the speech rate of the creative subject of broadcasting and hosting, and have afoundation for the speech rate problem of creative subject of broadcasting andhosting.The second part: the analysis of factors influencing the speech rate. To beginwith, It defines the basic concept of speech rate, and researches specifically thedifferences and relations of creative subject of broadcasting between hosting radio andtelevision broadcasting, and the author puts forward the concept of average speechrate and normal speech rate, then counts and analyses comparatively the speech rateof creation subject of broadcasting and hosting at the condition of the investigation ofthe regions, ages, gender differences, different broadcast time factors, and explores itsregularity.The third part: the analysis on the effect of communication speech rate. Itanalyses specifically four external skills and three internal skills speech rate of thecreative subject of broadcasting and hosting on verbal language expression, andstudies the influence of the speech rate on verbal language expression; then itresearches the audience orientation and the ability to accept speech rate from theperspective of the audience; and explores appropriate speech rate for the audience’slistening habit. Finally analyses its communication effect in the programme context ofdifferent speech rate unifying the programme content and the speech rate.The fourth part: with the problem of the creative subject of broadcasting andhosting, such as the excessive speech rate, the external imbalance, and the lack ofverbal language aesthetic, the paper studies the countermeasure of the speech rateproblems, and applies it in the training speech rate teaching of creative subject ofbroadcasting and hosting. Finally, It prospects the trends of speech rate changing.The fifth part: According to the author’s own hosting practice as broadcastermeteorological show, the paper compares emphatically the same programs broadcastin different time and the speech rate contrast of the same content in different columnsposition, and combines the audience feedback questionnaires, and proves theoreticalresearch conclusion, finally completes the graduation design.
