This paper aims to study during television producing process, the differentinformation dissemination effect caused by different spatial distance among the programhost and the audiences, and how the hosts can control and use those differences toachieve best delivering effect by adopting different methods and presentation skills.Starting from four different spatial distances defined in interpersonal communication, thepaper analyze physiological and psychological differences of audiences of differentspatial distance when receiving information when the same information source.Furthermore, the paper categorized and discussed the different types of televisionprograms.The paper extensively analyzed mainland China popular television programs andtelevision star presenter, quantitative analyzed the methods and skills used by thesepresenters. The paper comparing differences of these program hosts’ presentation skillsused by dealing audiences in different spatial distance, and provide conclusion andadvices.In detail, the paper also discussed verbal language and non-verbal sign of programhosts, analyzed program hosts’ language contents, language pattern, language format,pace and intonation, pronunciation, body language, gestures, eye contact and many otheraspects of program hosts used. The paper concluded how each of these aspect affectingthe information delivering result when deal with audiences from different spatialdistances.
