Study Of Verbal Violence Dissemination In Modern Urban Family In China

With the rapid economic development, modern Chinese city life has changed. Demographic structure of urban households, privacy of urban households living environment and family members of the community property constitutes produce great changes under the reform and opening. At the same time, we begin to accept the quick social life patterns, suffer from more social pressure and competition, bulid a smaller family and get more chances to get access to education. Under the circumstance, Short-frequency fast Media Information and consumption information are easy to get. All changes occurred in the urban life of the city directly affect the way people live with their families. However, verbal communication between family members-Family interpersonal communication only own poor research. So in this paper, we will research on the cause of family language violence and family interpersonal communication.Family language of violence behaves more recessive and we are not aware of the hurt. Society has no explicit constraint on it. However, the damage of language violence is difficult to heal. Firstly, this paper analysis the concept of family language violence and introduces the related researches. Sceondly, we verify that the reasons for the domestic language violence through the interview investigation, data statistics and quantitative and qualitative analysis. Finally, we propose the ideal model of family interpersonal communication for family language violence.The methods of this paper are literature analysis and interview survey. Method of Literature Analysis in this paper was used to define the concept of family language violence and conclude the related academic researches, and give the explanation and evidence for the family interpersonal communication model. Interview survey in this paper was used to collect data, and according to the data statistics, quantitative and qualitative analysis, we make preparation for conclusion.In the end, though the data statistics, quantitative and qualitative analysis of the interview, we have tested the earlier assumption, and found that:Verbal Violence are more easier happens in one-dimensional interpersonal communication type family than the interactive interpersonal communication family type; Verbal Violence are more easier happens in patriarchal families than democracy families; Family heritage plays an important role on Family language violence. A kid lives a in a family that full of verbal violence, when he/she grow up, the verbal violence may happen in his/her realationship or marriage, it depends on the aquireed initiative; Education level, income and social status not the direct factor that can lead the verbal violence, but it can affect the right to speak in a family; Verbal violence does not have the absolute impact on forming personality. Wether a people’s mental capacity, self-confidence and self-esteem affected by the family, were depends on the the closeness between the people and his/her family at childhood. And the aquired initiative also matters.The ideal model of family interpersonal communication is established according the relationship between family interpersonal communication and family verbal violence, and we propose suggests for reducing family language violence, icluding: establish interactive interpersonal communication mechanism in family; develop a language environment of appreciation; build democracy domestic life.
