With the rapid development of electronics technology, controlling technologyand computer technology, Imbedded SOPC system based on FPGAand NiosII is moreflexible and adaptable compared to the traditional design with multiple ASIC devices.This system could customize its CPU and peripheral interface according to necessarysoftware. Especially, NiosII could configure its specialty. Imbedded SOPC systembased on FPGA and NiosII provides a new constructing method for designingimbedded system, and changes the fixed system design mode for traditional CPUchip.This thesis is centers on EP2C8Q208C8chip of Cyclone II series produced byAltera company. It establishes a hardware platform for imbedded SOPC system basedon FPGA, and design system hardware interface circuit, storing mode andfrequently-used peripheral configuring mode circuit and etc, which also making use ofSOPC Builder to create and configuring NiosII soft core processor and peripheralequipment to produce systemic soft core circuit. On the basis of this hardwareplatform, study and analysis are conducted deliberately about hardware designing,software programming and configuring methods of the SOPC system based on FPGAand NiosII. This thesis also analyzes the designing principle of music player based onFPGA, structuring control and program design of voice frequency disposal system,and the optimized design of FIR digital filtering calculation based on FPGA. Byadapting designing method of combining software with hardware, this thesiscompletes the VHDL programming and FPGA utilization for systematically generaldesign, design flow analysis and individual applied design mode in the system, henceconfigures the design scheme of player and digital filter system based on FPGA, andrealized this design scheme by virtue of FPGA. Designing and application testing forimbedded music player and digital filter were completed. In the end, by simulatinganalysis and experiment testing, it is proved that this system design is effective andfeasible, which realizes the playing of vice frequency and anti-interference digitalfiltering processing and etc. and it also proves the effectiveness and feasibility ofimbedded SOPC testing system platform based FPGA, which therefore meets the expected aims of designing this system. The study of this thesis lays a solidfoundation for establishing SOPC system and conducting teaching&experimentwork in the field of electronic designing and in dealing with automatic controlling anddigital signal processing by using FPGAin the future.
