Parameters measured for traditional ACM (Air Cycle Machine) testing system is mainly by fieldwork. However, with the development of electronics technology and network technology, it is possible to integrate embedded system and network technology into ACM testing system. To compare with the traditional fieldwork, its advantage is obvious, such as environment influence free, enhanced controlling function and reliability of the system.In this paper, the author discusses the way of parameters acquisition in field and information's transmission. According to the above discussion, the author proposes a design method and a project to realize the ACM testing system and research the key technology in both of the software and hardware deeply.Client/Server mode is applied in this system. The server is composed of a local information acquisition subsystem and remote information transmission and control subsystem that based on Internet. The server is placed in monitored field. In this system, a computer is used as a client, which monitor software is run. The server and the client communicate each other by LwIP protocol and user-defined communication protocol in Internet.The key technology to realize this design is information transmission and control subsystem based on Internet. The key hardware of the design uses a FPGA chip. On the FPGA chip, the SoPC which base on the NiosII soft core processor and the peripherals is implemented in it. All of these build up a flexible embedded system. In the software of the SoPC, MicroC/OS2 real-time operating system and LwIP light weight TCP/IP stack have been ported. There are three key tasks running on MicroC/OS2, one take charge for Internet communication, one other for local information acquisition and another for valve controlling, all of tasks exchange data by message queue.The remote monitor terminal applied socket technology to process network program so that a high effectually Internet connect with remote sever can be realized.
