Survey Of Knowledge, Attitude And Behavior Of The Vaccination Of Children’s Parents In Jianye District Of Nanjing City

Objective:By the current situation of Vaccination for children in Jianye District, the influencing factor of vaccination was analyzed, the special vaccination management is formulated for this district.It is surveyed which vaccination is demanded for different groups, and the service system of community health is improved further.Methods:Schedule of survey is designed and the result is treated as the base of research analysis. Communities are selected by the method of random sampling, Monitored person is children aged 1-2 and lived in Jianye District. Guardians of selected children need finish the survey. Schedule of survey contains the basic personal and vaccination situation of child, the use of community health and the acknowledgement & attitude for vaccination from monitored parents.Totally 551 surveys,387 children who born in this locality and rest born in other place, are random collected from 9 selected communities. Raw data was summarized as database by Excel 2003, and analyzed by SPSS17.0. Ten questions are scored in survey in order to evaluate the acknowledgement & attitude for vaccination from monitored parents:1 score each question, total 10scores. Multi-factor Logistic regression algorithm is involved in factor analysis to reduce the deviation.Results:(1) Average score of vaccination knowledge is 4.88, it means that acknowledgement for vaccination from guardians is low, which is largely influenced by their education background.(2) Average score of attitude to vaccination is 7.94, it means guardians are proactive for vaccination, which is influenced by children’s health.(3) Basic vaccination for local and nonlocal children reached 95%, but only a partexecuted for real time, which is influenced by household registration and mother’s education background.(4) Guardians are satisfied for vaccination service, technology and enthusiasm of medical workers.Conclusion:(1) By advertising vaccination for many years, vaccination knowledge is gradually concerning by guardians of child, however country’s vaccination policy and side effects are ignored. So vaccination related knowledge should be educated for guardians, especially for those whose education level is low.(2)The vaccination rate of nonlocal children for real time is low compared with local children. The management of vaccination for nonlocal children need be emphasized. Service pattern would be innovated for them, such as update the vaccination result frequently and improve the real-time performance for vaccination.(3) II type vaccine showed important function for disease protection, so the acknowledgement need be concerned more for guardians. In order to keep children healthier, II type vaccine will be gradually merged into I type vaccine,and vaccine will be expanded in the current condition of financial resources.
