ObjectiveThe study was aimed to investigate the influencing factors of Knowledge,Attitude and Behavior(KAB)about Self-management in Elderly Patients with Type 2 Diabetes.In order to explore countermeasures to improve Knowledge,Attitude and Behavior(KAB)about Self-management among Diabetes Patients.MethodThis study used quantitative research combined with qualitative research method to analysis its influencing factors of Knowledge,Attitude and Behavior(KAB)about Self-management in Elderly Patients with Type 2 Diabetes.It includes two parts:(1)A quantitative analysis of its influencing factors of Knowledge,Attitude and Behavior(KAB)about Self-management among Diabetes Patients :It includes two parts:four instruments were used to collect of 308 case of diabetes patients,including Family APGAR Index,Self-efficacy for Managing Chronic Disease 6-item Scal,the Social Support Rating(SSRS)and Diabetes Self-management diabetes Knowledge,Attitude,Behavior Assessment Scale(DSKAB).(2)A qualitative of the needs and influence factors of Knowledge,Attitude and Behavior(KAB)about Self-management among Diabetes Patients and analysis its influencing factors:The purposive sampling method was adopted,14 diabetes was selected through the semi-structured interview.Results(1)The total score of DSKAB was(65.51±12.74)and knowledge,attitude and Behavior of diabetes patients was at a moderate level.The knowledge score was(66.95±16.31),The attitude score was(77.59±9.46),The behavior score was(59.39±15.19).(2)The total score of DSKAB as the dependent variable,factors statistical significance in the singer factor(P<0.05)as independent variables for multivariate regression analysis.Regression analysis showed that the disease course of the patients?Presence of the spouse?Living alone?HbA1c whether met the goal?educational level?self-efficacy and family function were influencing factors of patients,which can explain 63.0% of the total variance.(3)Qualitative research results showed:Knowledge(1)Different knowledge sources;(2)digestion and transformation knowledge by the patient's own factors;(3)Nursing information the degree of consensus with the patients demand.Attitude:(1)The sense of responsibility and worth affected patients hope in life;(2)Health care workers and family members of the emotional support affected treatment confidence in patients;(3)The different understanding of diseases affected belief of patients tending to health behaviors.Behavior:(1)Maintain effective supervision promoted the self management behavior;(2)Life details affect the administration of self improvement;(3)Patients with rich social capital improve self-management behavior.ConclusionKnowledge,attitude and Behavior of diabetes patients was at a moderate level while It is affected by many factors.Medical education workers should assess the patient's comprehensive condition to formulate scientific and effective intervention measures.
