| ObjectiveThrough the comparison with loratadine, evaluate the immediate efficacy, short-term effects, long-term efficacy and safety of the wood acupoint acupuncture for treating syndrome of wind and dryness due to blood deficiency of chronic urticaria objectively.MethodsThe 70 cases included in the standard of wind and dryness due to blood deficiency of chronic urticaria according to number 1-70, and then through the concise statistical software to dividing into wood acupoint and loratadine group averagely. Wood acupoint group selection wood acupoint, it is located in the first knuckle of the index finger of the volaris side, on the line between the inside and center line. Taking three point method, two points each hand. Choosing wood points alternately. Three days a time, ten times one period of treatment, a total of two period of treatment. Loratadine group give loratadine. Once per day, a month one period of treatment. Treatment of two period of treatment. After the treatment were followed up for 3 months.Using the guiding principles of Chinese medicine and new medicine clinical research(1997 edition), European MILOR research and the SSRI as standard of chronic urticaria. Recording the core before treatment, after treatment for the first time (that is, the acupuncture or medicine after half an hour), end of the two courses of treatment and 3 months after treatment. According to Europe MILOR comprehensive curative effect evaluation and the symptoms comprehensive efficacy evaluation of TCM, compare the difference between the two groups by chi-square suggests there are statistically significant P＜0.05, indicating that the wood acupoint group immediate efficacy is better than the loratadine group.All treatments end up, Comparing the European MILOR score, TCM symptoms score, Europe MILOR deducted rate and TCM symptoms rate between two groups, they had no statistical significant. Europe MILOR and TCM symptoms curative effect evaluation, wood hole group the total efficiency of 90.91%,90.91% respectively, loratadine group the total efficiency of 88.24%,91.18% respectively, the difference contrast between the two by chi-square tip no statistical significance (P 0.967,0.699, respectively). It shows that is the same short-term effects of two groups.Follow-up three months later, Comparing the European MILOR score, TCM symptoms score, Europe MILOR deducted rate and TCM symptoms rate between two groups, they had no statistical significant. Europe MILOR and TCM symptoms curative effect evaluation of wood acupoint group show efficiency (12.12%, 15.15% respectively) than loratadine group (5.88%,2.94% respectively), wood acupoint group the total efficiency of 75.76%,72.73% respectively, loratadine group the total efficiency of 73.53%,70.59% respectively, from the total efficiency, wood acupoint is slightly higher than loratadine group, the difference between the two compared by chi-square tip no statistical significance (P 0.835,0.8472, respectively), it shows that is the same long-term effect. But up to two groups of total efficiency are lower than at the end of the two period of treatment. Comprehensive the above data, infer the wood acupoint forward curative effect with loratadine group;Both the recurrence of them of the subjects urticaria is dubious, should be compared in group.Each observation point in the two groups of group for European MILOR, TCM symptom scores, the difference between comparison, the results indicate the difference with statistical significance (P＜ 0.05).But wood point between group after the treatment and follow-up of 3 months is no statistical significance in the group, and loratadine way within the difference was statistically significant, thereafter follow-up after 3 months, the treatment of urticaria, but loratadine group had a relapse.ConclusionWood acupoint acupuncture and loratadine are effective for wind and dryness due to blood deficiency of chronic urticaria, the immediate effect of wood acupoint acupuncture is better than that of loratadine. Both short-term and long-term effect are the same. But Loratadine group had a relapse after 3 months. Acupuncture wood hole can be used to supplement the clinical treatment of urticaria instantly relieve symptoms. |
