Analysis Of The Use Of Narcotic Drugs And Psychotropic Drugs Category Ⅱ In China～Japan Union Hospital Of Jilin University During 2012～2014

The definition of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs belong to the category of pharmacy administration, Because it can make the production of drug dependence, therefore, states impose special management, so as to avoid drug abuse, causing serious consequences. Narcotic drugs play an irreplaceable role in the treatment of pain, disadvantage is that may cause dependence and addiction after continuous administration; Psychotropic drugs including sedatives and hypnotics drugs and central nervous system stimulants drugs, may result in drug dependence through constant use, much better than narcotic drugs. Narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs has a dual nature: on the one hand, has an irreplaceable on the medical treatment, on the other hand, its unique effects make easy to produce drug dependence and addiction. That is, the proper use of these drugs can treat disease, save lives, improve the quality of life. Improper use can seriously harm human health, causing social unrest. Therefore, the application of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs must be strict supervision. This paper, by using defined daily dose(DDD) the unit of measure, as well as combined drug usage data to calculate frequency(DDDs),daily costs(DDC),drug utilization index(DUI) and ratio of sequence such as therapeutic indicators,to investigate the use and the trend of narcotic drug and psychotropic drugs in our hospital to provide a reference drug procurement and supply. Combined analysis of prescription to evaluate its rationality, so as to provide reference for clinical rational use of narcotic drugs.Extracted drug use data of 2012~2014 narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs category Ⅱ and 2012~2014 total sales amount of hospital medicine from the hospital information management system, including drug generic name,specification, dosage, use, retail, sales, etc. Use defined daily dose(DDD) indexrecommended by WHO, calculate drug quantity, amount, DDDS(DDDs), the daily amount(DDC),drug utilization index(DUI) and ratio of sequence of the narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs category Ⅱ, and statistical analysis. Taking a certain amount of prescription for analysis.Result: The narcotic drugs used in our hospital increased year by year in both consumption sum and quantity. Fentanyl injection, Sufentanil citrate injection,Morphine sulfate sustained~release tablets and Oxycodone prolonged~release tablets(10mg) took up the top four places in the list of DDDs. Oxycodone injection,Sufentanil citrate injection, Remifentanil for injection and Fentanyl transdermal patches took up the top four places in the list of DDC. Ratio of sequence greater than 1 : Fentanyl injection,Codeine tablets,Morphine sulfate sustained~release tablets, Morphine tablets. DUI greater than 1 : Fentanyl injection, Morphine sulfate sustained~release tablets, Oxycodone prolonged~release tablets and Meperidine injection, belong to the rational use of drugs. But Meperidine injection belong to irrational drug use.The psychotropic drugs category Ⅱ used in our hospital declined in consumption sum during 2012~2013 increased during 2013~2014, on the whole is increased. The consumption quantity declined year by year. Estazolam tablets,Tramadol injection, Midazolam injection, Diazepam tablets took up the top four places in the list of DDDs. Dezocine injection, Midazolam injection, Tramadol injection, Dexzopiclone tablets took up the top four places in the list of DDC. Ratio of sequence greater than 1 : Estazolam tablets and Diazepam tablets. DUI greater than 1 : Midazolam injection, belong to the rational use of drugs.Conclusion: The management of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs work in order in our hospital. So many types and ensures the patient’s clinical needs. The use is basically reasonable,The result of create cancer pain treatment demonstration ward is remarkable, ensure the patient’s medication needs.Reasonable choice of medicines at the same time, the doctor can fully consider the economic status of patients,but there are also many deficiencies, so we must takemeasure to further strengthen the intervention and management. Believe with the perfection of system of hospital management,medical philosophy of constantly updated, active participation of clinical pharmacists,use of narcotic and psychotropic drugs will be more standardized and rational.
