ObjecteTo observe the persistent changes of blood uric acid level in patients with acute cerebral infarction; analyse the possible factors affecting uric acid levels and the correlation between the severity of cerebral infarction and prognosis. This study is aim to explore the changing features of uric acid level in cerebral infarction patients, and make a judgment about the factors affecting uric acid levels and the severity and prognosis of the disease.Steps1. Collecting materialsConduct cohort studies on more than 400 patients with acute cerebral infarction, who were hospitalized in neurology department of the Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University from may to December of 2013. With strict inclusion and exclusion criteria, 277 cases are selected,of which 191 patients are male, and 86 patients are female. During the time of hospitalization, relevant information are collected carefully; NIHSS score is given when the patients were in and out of the hospital; m RS score is also given when they discharge from the hospital; after they discharge from the hospital about 3 months and 1 year, I proceed a follow-up visit and give m RS score at the same time.2. Design the experiment(1) Collect the information of patients in detail, which including sex, age, blood lipid(high density lipoprotein cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglycerides), homocysteine, blood pressure, blood glucose. After that, do a statistical analysis about whether there is a correlation between uric acid and those factors.(2)Once patients are in hospital, NIHSS score needs to be given. Through14 days standard treatment and when they get out of the hospital, a NIHSS score is still needed to make a statistical analysis on whether there is a relationship between uric acid and the severity of disease.(3)Give the enrolled patients m RS score on the day they discharge from the hospital.Proceed a follow-up visit after 3 months and 1 year, and record m RS score to make a statistical analysis on whether there is a relationship between uric acid and prognosis. 3.Statistical analysis: statistic analysis are done by SPSS 19.0 software; descriptive analysis are expressed with the mean±standard deviation( x ±s)form; comparing the date changes within one group needs to use the paired T-test, the data between two groups are compared by two independent sample T-test, and counting data uses chi square test; P<0.05 means thatdifferences have statistical significant. Results(1) There is a gender difference in blood uric acid in acute cerebral infarction patients, that is, the level of uric acid of the male is obviously higher than that of female patients(P<0.05), the differences possess statistical significant. However, age, hypertension, diabetes, lipid have no clear correlation with uric acid level, that is to say, the differences have not statistical significant(P>0.05).(2) Patients with acute cerebral infarction are divided into two groups according to the level of uric acid, namely, high uric acid group and normal uric acid group.History distribution no difference between the two groups.High uric acid group of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol partial lower detection rate is high than normal uric acid, low density lipoprotein partial high detection rate of normal uric group.(3)Patients with acute cerebral infarction are divided into two groups according to the level of uric acid, namely, high uric acid group and normal uric acid group. There is no big difference between two groups in NIHSS score at the time of admission and discharge. It indicates that there is no statistical significance(P>0.05). There is no big difference between the two groups in recovery after they discharge about 3 months and 1 year.So there is no statistical significant(P>0.05).Conclusion1 Acute cerebral infarction patients’ blood uric acid level and negatively correlated with high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and low density lipoprotein cholesterol were positively correlated.2 Acute cerebral infarction patients’ blood uric acid level is associated with gender, men than women.3 Acute cerebral infarction patients’ blood uric acid levels and hypertension, history of diabetes, smoking history, history of cerebral infarction no clear correlation.4 Acute cerebral infarction patients’ blood uric acid levels and the severity and prognosis of no clear correlation,It is insufficient to treat high uric acid as the predictor of the severity and prognosis of the disease in acute cerebral infarction patients.
