The Application Of The Visualized Health Education Of The Health Belief Model In Patients With Coronary Heart Disease

Objective:The study, whose theory basis is the health belief model, carries out the visualized health education in patients with coronary heart disease to study the differences of self-efficacy, self nursing ability and quality of life of the patients with coronary heart disease. The purpose includes promoting patients to set the health belief and healthy behaviors, changing daily behaviors, improving the quality of life and providing effective method for the implementation of health education.Methods:This study selected 90 patients with coronary heart disease of cardiovascular department in our hospital as the research objects during 2013.1-2014.12. The patients were divided into control group and test group,45 cases in each group, the control group was given routine health education, the experimental group was given the visual health education, intervention for 15 days, evaluating the general information questionnaire, self-efficacy, quality of life, and self-care ability scale of two groups. Analyzing the collected data for statistical, then drawing the final conclusion.Results:(1) Before test, the self efficacy, self-care ability scale and the quality of life of patients in the two groups were no statistical significance (P> 0.05).(2) Before and after test, the self efficacy, self-care ability scale and the quality of life of patients in test group were statistical significance (P<0.05), the self-care ability scale and some dimensions of the quality of life (role physical, general health, vitality, social function, role emotional) were statistically significant (P<0.05)).(3) After the test, the self efficacy, self-care ability scale and the quality of life of patients in the two groups were statistical significance (P< 0.05).Conclusion:1 The application of the visualized health education of the health belief model in patients with coronary heart disease can improve the patients’the self-confidence and self nursing ability.2 The application of the visualized health education of the health belief model improves the quality of life of patients with coronary heart disease.
