| Object: The far infrared thermal imager is used to make the cold syndrome of middle energizer more objective. And the localization evaluation, qualitative evaluation and quantitative evaluation of the middle energizer will be achieved. Methods: The Zang-Fu which belong to the middle energizer in Traditional Chinese Medicine mainly are spleen and stomach. The cold syndrome of middle energizer also is the cold syndrome of spleen and stomach, it mainly reflects in the cold of abdomen. The body surface temperature of abdomen can reflect the change of cold and heat which takes place in spleen and stomach. The far infrared thermal imager can collect temperature distributions of body surface and the temperature value from human body. So the objectivity of evaluation and visualization of evaluation of middle energizer will be achieved by using the far infrared thermal imager. Results: â‘ The body surface temperature of abdomen can reflect the change of cold and heat which takes place in Zang-Fu. â‘¡The abdominal temperature of the cold syndrome of middle energizer group is significantly lower than no the cold syndrome of middle energizer group. Otherwise, some of the cold syndrome of middle energizer group appear cold deviation and heat deviation in upper breast. Heat deviation maybe is excessive cold syndrome of spleen and stomach, and cold deviation maybe is deficient cold of spleen and stomach. â‘¢The cold syndrome of middle energizer be divided into three classes. The first is the cold syndrome of above the umbilicus, the second is the cold syndrome of below the umbilicus, the last is the cold syndrome of whole abdomen. The cold syndrome of above the umbilicus maybe is the spleen-Yang deficiency. The cold syndrome of below the umbilicus maybe is the kidney-Yang deficiency. The cold syndrome of whole abdomen(before the iliac spines on the attachment) maybe is Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney. â‘£The areas of abdominal cold can be used to assess the degree of the cold syndrome of middle energizer. Conclusion: The far infrared thermal imager can reflect the condition about the cold syndrome of middle energizer.
