| Objective: To observe the effect and the changes of sex hormone based on my advisor’s the teacher shugantiaochong decoction treating women late onset acne. To explore the mechanism of the influence of sex hormone levels in treatment of late onset of female acne. This study aims to provide certain evidence of the shugantiaochong decoction treats women’s acne t of late onset acne on traditional Chinese medicine. Methods: 70 cases of female acne patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, respectively. The treatment group was given the shugantiaochong decoction, and the control group was given heat acne take orally. 30 volunteers women were recruited to be normal group. To observe the clinical effects among the both groups before and after treatment, relapse and adverse reactions. Sex hormone in peripheral blood(testosterone(T), estradiol(E2), luteinizing hormone(LH), follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH), prolactin(PRL), progesterone()was tested before and after treatment. Results: The effect in treatment group and control group comparison which treatment group total effective rate was 91.7%, and control group was 73.5%. The treatment group total effectiveness is significant than control group(P < 0.05). The treatment group and control group of serum testosterone level is significantly higher than that of healthy controls(P < 0.05) before treatment. Estrogen levels was lower than the control group(P < 0.05); the treatment group serum testosterone level is significantly decreased(p < 0.05) and Estrogen levels increased significantly(P < 0.05)after treatment. There was no significant alteration of the other sex hormone levels both of the two groups before and after treatment(p > 0.05). Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) symptom integral comparison, there was higher significant difference on the treatment group comparison before and after the treatment(P < 0.01). There was not significant difference on the control group before and after treatment(p > 0.05). There was a very significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.01). The shugantiaochong decoction improved TCM symptoms significantly superior to clear heat acne group. Clinical observation found that recurrence of treatment group was less than controls(P < 0.05). Treatment group adverse reactions compared with control group, there was no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05). Conclusion:Low recurrence rate and tiny side effect on the shugantiaochong decoction curative effect on women’s late onset acne. Its mechanism was adjusted the sex hormone levels in the body and plays a role of treatment. |
