Object: Investigated the prevention effect of neck shoulder excercises on nurses in operation room,to discuss it role in neck shoulder syndrome of nurses in operation room,in order to find a new rehabilitation intervention for neck shoulder syndrome.Methods: Investigated the prevelence and therpay in neck shoulder syndrome of nurses in operation room in hebei provence with questionnaire,accorded to results and work characterastics with nurses in operation room,refered to the domestic and foreign literature, prepare a nurse neck shoulder exercises under guidance of rehabilitation medicine experts, sports medicine specialist. Choose 100 nurses in operating room in two 3 armour hospital in hebei province,nurses in affiliated hospital of chengde medical college were control group,nurses in the second hospital of hebei medical university were intervention group.the intervention study time was 10 weeks,2times per day,30 minutes per time.Evaluate the effect by visual analog scale(VAS), neck disability index(NDI), SF-12, range of motion(ROM) in baseline,the fourth week,the ten week.compare the data in baseline,fourth week,ten week, the Statistical Software Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS) is used in the data analysis, Version 19.0Data analysis included percentage, frequencies, mean value, standard deviations, t tests, and c2tests. Repeated measures of ANCOVA are used to test the neck and shoulder training exercises effects on neck and shoulder, the accepted level of significance for all analyses was P<0.05.Results: In the intervention group, VAS, NDI,SF-12 and ROM scores between the baseline and 4th week were showed no significant difference;VAS, NDI,SF-12 and ROM scores between the baseline and 10 th week were showed significant difference; VAS, NDI,SF-12 and ROM scores between the 4th week and 10 th week were showed significant difference; in the control group, VAS, NDI,SF-12 and ROM scores at different time(the baseline, 4th, 10 th week)were showed no statistical significance. There is no difference in demographic information between the intervention group and the control group(P>0.05); In the four weeks, the intervention group VAS, NDI,SF-12 and ROM scores had significant difference between two groups(P<0.05); In the ten weeks, the intervention group VAS, NDI,SF-12 and ROM scores had significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: Neck shoulder exercises can effectively prevent and alleviate the neck and shoulder pain in operating room nurses, insist for a long time is better than short-term training.
