Objective:To assess the influence of six meridian syndromedifferentiation and chemotherapy on aspect specifically including thequality of life、clinical syndrome change of the tumor and the adversereaction of chemotherapy of those patients with middle-late stage lungcancer. In order to enrich differentiation of symptoms and signs for midand advanced pulmonary cancer,we have explored the application of sixmeridian syndrome differentiation in the diagnosis and treatment ofmiddle-late stage lung cancerMethods:60cases that met inclusion criteria was divided into2groupsrandomly, each group contains30cases. We applied the therapy of sixmeridian syndrome differentiation and chemotherapy to the observationgroup and only chemotherapy to the control group. The quality of life、the change of symptoms in Traditional Chinese Medicine、the adversereaction of chemotherapy and the change of tumor are mainly observedby us.Results:The quality of life scores of the observation group has beenSignificantly improved compared with before treatment, there issignificantly statistical differences compared to the controlgroup(P<0.05);those symptoms in Traditional Chinese Medicine havebeen apparently improved compared with the control group, significantlystatistical differences also exist(P<0.05);the morphological changes ofthe tumor have also been Significantly improved compared to the controlgroup, there exists significant difference(P<0.05);the incidence rate ofgastrointestinal reactions and arrest of bone marrow is lower than thecontrol group, there is significantly statistical differences(P<0.05). Conclusion:The quality of life、the improvement of those symptoms、the morphological changes of the tumor and the adverse reaction ofchemotherapy can be comprehensively improved if we apply the therapyof six meridian syndrome differentiation combined with chemotherapy tothose patients with mid and advanced pulmonary cancer.
