The Study Of The Use Of Experts’ Consensus In The Evaluation Scale Of Treating Cervical Spondylotic Neurodynia With Acupuncture And Moxibustion

ObjectiveTo compile the evaluation scale of treating cervical spondylotic neurodynia with acupuncture and moxibustion, that could provide a tool for the clinical assessment of cervical spondylotic neurodynia.MethodsReferenced on teaching materials, books, literature, and scales on cervical spondylotic neurodynia both at home and abroad. At the same time, through the communications between the patients, their families, doctors and nurses, the research team had further gathered aspects of information which influenced the quality of life to establish a preliminary entry pool. Then according to preliminary entry pool, we had made a questionnaire to consultant experts by using Delphi method. After screening and optimizing the entries according to the results of consulting by experts, the evaluation scale of treating cervical spondylotic neurodynia with acupuncture and moxibustion was initially compiled.ResultsAfter two rounds of expert consultation, the evaluation scale of treating cervical spondylotic neurodynia with acupuncture and moxibustion was initially compiled according to the results of consulting by experts, which was made of eight aspects of entries, contained symptoms of neck and shoulders, symptoms of nerve roots, cervical activity, daily life, work, psychology or spirit, symptoms of channels’courses, and satisfaction of curative effect, with a total of35entries. In this study, the experts’ positive coefficient was100%, the authority’s degree of the two rounds of experts’ consultation were0.82and0.86respectively, the standard deviation were fluctuated respectively from0.559to1.534, and from0.928to1.500, and the Kendall’ s W of the two rounds of experts’consultation were0.098to0.485and0.071to0.098respectively.ConclusionIn this study, the contents of the scale were comprehensive,and the structure was reasonable, also it had goog authority and the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine. Among it, the meridian courses symptoms could be used for curative effect as evaluation index, also could guide the meridians dialectic for acupuncture treatment. The scale was suitable for the patient’s clinical evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine who was suffered cervical spondylotic neurodynia, especially suitable for clinical evaluation about acupuncture treatment of cervical spondylotic neurodynia, and it had a very good application prospect.
