The rapid development of the aviation industry brings new opportunities and challenges for aerospace fasteners enterprises in China. Facing the pierce market environment, the mode of production for aerospace fasteners enterprises appear some new characteristics, more variety, middle and small lot size, high quality and lower cost and so on. How to make the enterprise in an impregnable position and improve its management level has become an important subject. The fierce market environment forces companies to further improve their production system, keep the enterprise’s research and development speed, produce fasteners products required by the market.Aerospace fasteners enterprise has a very high requirement on the quality of the product, to ensure that each batch of parts has the same performance, enterprise strictly carry out batch management mode. Also enterprise has many devices, and the number of each device are not fixed, so a lot of enterprises adopt function layout form, implement traditional push production mode. In this mode enterprise is easy to make production problems such as production imbalance problem, long production cycle, low utilization rate of equipment, WIP inventory problem. So this article combine the unit layout form with pull production mode, and put forward a kind of suitable pull production system for aerospace fasteners.Based on the general situation of the aerospace fasteners enterprise and the detailed analysis of its product characteristics we put forward the strategy to establish a pull production system for air fasteners enterprise.①Firstly,according to the characteristic of its products and processing equipment, we need conduct clustering analysis for them, with the clustering results construction production unit.②Secondly, According to the production unit, we set up pull production system, in the unit we use traditional operation mode, and construction pull production mode between units, then use kanban to control this system effectively. ③ In order to verify the validity of this model, we use Simio simulation software to do modeling and simulation, and do some statistical analysis for the utilization rate of equipment, production capacity, production cycle and material movement distance date, to further proof that constructing pull production system in aerospace fastener enterprises is plausible.④Finally, apply the results of this paper into enterprise’s workshop, through research and verification, enterprise’s efficiency is significantly improved, and the processing cycle become shorter.
