Renren Information Acquiring And Sharing Research

In the wake of Web2.0Era, further improvement has been made on network technology. The openness and convenience of social network are expressed incisively and vividly. The real relationships offline are built into a criss-crossing social graph that simplifies the communication model. Meanwhile people are given more degrees of freedom in time and space. As the core foundation and the most important construction method of social network, Information Acquiring and Sharing redefined its web content generation from top to bottom, thus provided a new way for information acquisition, preservation and re-interpretation at the transmission level, and explained the meaning of "Presented Social Type" from thought and social communication category as well. This article takes the leading real-name social network--Renren for example, analyses the presentation characteristics of hot sharing information and explores the convenience and performance of Information Acquiring and Sharing in social network. Hope to comb the Information Acquiring and Sharing comprehensively by combining with cases and introducing concepts, aimed at providing references and bases for the research of Information Acquiring and Sharing in social network.The first part of this thesis gives a brief overview of the study purpose, research methods, innovation points, etc. The second part elaborates the general development situation and characteristics of social network and Renren to introduce the core concept of the thesis---Professor Rioux’s theory of Information Acquiring and Sharing, and discourse upon the core concept through the case of Renren share. The third part analyzes the influential elements of Renren information sharing users, web interface settings, etc. Pick up study samples by detecting information content of hot sharing information from Renren network and refine particularities of hot sharing information combining with Content Analysis, which is also the most innovatived part of this thesis. The fourth part uses depth interview pattern to indicate the information sharing function and meaning from three levels:users, web management and information spearing. This part focuses on Information Acquiring and Sharing’s function of strengthening the "Weak Ties", and social resource accumulation. Aimed at the already appeared phenomenon such as information overload and slow user growth, the fifth part puts the hidden danger forward that Information Acquiring and Sharing may bring, as well as the obstacles generated from information heterogeneity and complexity.
