A Comparative Study On Influencing Factors Of Friendship Establishment Between Renren Network And Sina Microblog

Social network, which recently developed, is a new network form and an onlineform of communication. Its appearance solves the problem of anonymity in the networkcommunication, which has long been the subject of criticism, brings the real socialrelationships onto the internet, and realizes the return of actors to the reality. More userscan establish and manage interpersonal relationships through the SNS service. What thearticle concerns, is “add friends” in SNS, the specific and the most basic act. It aims tomake a scientific and accurate description and an exploratory analysis of the focus pointand influence factors of this act, with the method of empirical research, taking TsinghuaUniversity students as study objects, using renren network and sina microblog asexamples. The text takes the method with quantitative research, using statistical factoranalysis clustering, clustering the attention of adding friend of renren network and sinamicro blog.Take paired T test on the importance of the concern of two platforms to determinewhether the difference is significant, then to inspect the factors which related to thefocus difference. The text examines the correlation between gender, time using, friend’s number of platform, involvement of platform, the type of using behavior, individualpsychological characteristics and the differences of the attention points. The differences,the importance of the concern of two platform are not related to gender, socialavoidance, distress and other characteristics, but related to interpersonal interaction, theinvolvement of network as well as network using time.This study uses the sociology, psychology theory, researching the specific point ofsocial network behavior. It has certain innovation in the way of the interdisciplinaryresearch.
