It is a new topic and an important part of the ideological and political educationto strengthen minority college students national identity Educational Research.Xinjiang universities bear the historic task to culture socialist construction qualifiedsuccessors and is also the forefront of opposing ethnic separatism. In recent years,ethnic separatist forces to split ideological penetration focused on colleges as well ascollege students, which causes interference to university teaching and learningenvironment in Xinjiang and challenges the national identity education of minoritycollege students. So strengthen minority college students national identity educationto form a positive sense of national identity, which is the task of ideological andpolitical education in Xinjiang universities and the need of national unity andstability in Xinjiang.
