Since the beginning of the21st century, China’s politics, economy, culture andother undertakings to flourish with the progress of science and technology,information technology, digital technology has become when the mainstream ofsociety. Today people every day receiving, screening with a lot of information, fromthe reception to the large amounts of information at the same time to get theknowledge they need. Developed social media industry, diversify the access toeducation, school education, family education, more and more people rely on themedia to learn. The sports media is dedicated to the sports information disseminationand reports of media, the educational function of the social behavior of individualsports have an important impact. Therefore, the educational function of sports mediahas important practical significance to study the historical period of building amoderately prosperous society and implementation of the strategic objectives of thesports power.This study to the scientific concept of development theory and the socialist corevalue theory, communication theory, pedagogy and sports training theory based onliterature, expert interviews, questionnaire, logical analysis, case analysis andmathematical statistics and other research methods analysis of China’s sports mediaeducation function, put forward the theoretical analysis of the future developmentstrategy of China’s sports media education. Through research, the followingconclusions:First, the educational function of the sports media, including social educationalfunction and individual educational function. The social education features include:political education, to promote the development of the sports industry and the spreadof socialist sports culture. The individual education features include: access to sportsnews, knowledge and skills, and promote the socialization of the individual; enrichpeople’s leisure life, the development of human interests and hobbies, to promote theharmonious development of man.Second, the the media internal management system is not perfect, the imbalancebetween the broadcast content, the excessive commercialization mode of operation aswell as the reported content distortion is the main factors to influence thedevelopment of China’s sports media education. Third, building the core values of sports media education to adapt to the needs ofthe times; established in order to build the sports power target development path;scientific management, attention to media responsibility, increase the creation ofeducational programs organized; coordinating the development of the sports mediaindustry, the sports media Education Development to provide financial security;regression the sporting essence, in order to promote the harmonious development ofman as the ultimate goal.
