Copyright is a classification of intellectual property rights,the copyright trade in essence is belonging to intellectual property trade.The copyright trade has a big effect on many aspects of a country such as economy,culture,science and technology etc.and it is an integral part of a country's trade under the background of globalization.The development of market economy and deepening reform in our country offers the development opportunity to some active and attractive market segments,including film and television programs,variety show and sports.This article mainly talks about sports copyright trade,especially the broadcasting right of sport events and sports programs.The sports copyright trade is one of the copyright trade activities between countries with different subjects.Sports copyright trades in our country now mainly rely on imports,covering different items such as football,basketball and boxing etc.Based on the import and export situation of China in recent years,sports copyright trade deficit is obvious and the contents consumed in the market are mostly imported.The domestic sports copyrights have no overseas markets,mostly consumed in our own country.In the new media environment,people of different ages have different needs and copyright trade presents new characteristics.Through the analysis of the status quo and the main causes and problems of obvious sports copyright trade deficit in sports industry,this article puts forward proposes on the reversing of the copyright trade deficit.Changing the severe situation of copyright trade deficit needs to improve the market environment,prevent vicious competition and the effective protection of laws and regulations.Based on these conditions to create the boutique sports content to meet consumer demand,improve the production and operation ability of sports content,then reduce overreliance on imported copyright and expand the territory and the value of the independent brand output.
