Object: To analyze the clinical experiences of Professor Jing-lin Li indiagnosing and treating liver-yang headache. Spread his academic thoughts andprovide new ideas and methods to the treatment of liver-yang headache.Method: Make clinical practice with my advisor on the basis of consultingrelated literature information and seriously analyze his clinical experiences.Conclusion: Professor Jing-lin Li agrees that the pathogensis of liver-yangheadache is “upper excess and lower deficiency”. The excess in the upper isthe principal contradiction and liver is deficiency mostly. He is expert incuring this kind of sickness by clearing heat and promoting urination. Suchherb as weeping forsythiae capsule, radix scutellariae, angelica dahurica,ligusticum sinense oliver, mentha haplocalyx, lotus leaves, radixpuerariae, actium lappa, fraxinus bungeana, lalang grass rhizome, mulberryleaf, prunella vulgaris, chrysanthemum, etc. are often used.
