This study combining the theory to the clinical practice has established the principaltreatment, which covers nourishing qi to invigorate spleen, activating blood circulation todissipate blood stasis, detoxicating to anticancer, has put forward the principal pathogenesisof the patients on advanced stage, which is the weakness of the spleen and stomach, toxicities tying with blood stasis. We take the of invigorating the spleen, dissipating bloodstasis and detoxicating as the fundamental method, which is a part of treatment experienceof professor Ruiping Wang, to treat the advanced stage patients.Objective: Aim to evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety, by the way of assessingthe size of the tumor, symptom, the quality of life, energy, tumor marks and the side-effectof the chemotherapy, of the principle of invigorating the spleen, dissipating blood stasis anddetoxicating when encountering the patients.Methods: The 36 definite patients of carcinoma of the stomach have been assignedinto two groups randomly, 18 in the test group, and the rest in the control group. Patients inthe test group receive the combined therapy, which contain the agent of invigorating thespleen, dissipating blood stasis and detoxicating and OXA+5-Fu/CF orOXA+PTX+5-Fu.The chemotherapy has carried out for 2 periods, 8 weeks in all. The agent consists ofHuangqi, Dangshen, Baizhu, Huaishanyao, Yiyiren, Danshen, Erzhu, Shijianchuan, Shuyangquan, Baqi. One potion a day, decocted to 300ML, 150ML one time, 8 weeks insuccession. The control group receive the same medicine, the same dose but agent.Result: It has significant difference between the two groups on ameliorating symptom, increasing the quality of life, decreasing the index of tumor marks such as CEA(P<0.05).improving patients’ energy(P<0.01).Conclusion: It is feasible and rational that agent of invigorating the spleen, dissipatingblood stasis and detoxicating should be adopted to treat patients of carcinoma of stomachon advance stage. And it would provide a more effective treatment, a foundation of furtherdeveloping anticancer Chinese drugs pharmaceutics.
