The nursing profession has developed rapidly in recent years. With the reform of the health care system, more and more hospitals requires nursing personnel with a certain basic medical theory and skills of high academic qualifications. Vocational nursing students’ needs are increasing year by year. In the expansion team of care professionals, we can not blindly pursue to enhance the number of nurses, pay more attention to the quality of nurses is the way. Nursing is the most basic technical skills in the operation content, meanwhile nursing plays a decisive role that a qualified nurse must have skills in the teaching of the nursing profession. This article showed that vocational nursing students through family background, exam pressure, professional level of understanding, investigation and analysis of personality types, identify the impact of nursing skills assessment scores factors for these factors and try to find coping strategies to promote vocational nursing health exam measures coping skills to deal with psychological stress measures and improving test scores.This study adopted questionnaire methods from the following three aspects:(1) General questionnaires were used to investigate age, gender, family economic situation of the nursing students and their influence on nursing technical manipulation examination scores.(2)Motivation questionnaires of nursing students to choose nursing as their major were used to investigate the nursing students’interest in nursing and their influence on nursing technical manipulation examination scores.(3) MBTI-G personality questionnaires were used to analyze influence of the nursing students’ personality on nursing technical manipulation examination scores.Conclusions:(1) Motivation to choose nursing and personality types of the nursing students:Sex differences influences students’career choice motivation. There were significant differences in occupational preference, professional knowledge and learning attitude between male and female nursing students. The former showed less positive sense of participation than the latter.In terms of personality types of students of different grades, the first-year students got higher scores than the higher grades in the aspect of hope, optimism and resilience, but showed less confidence.There were also significant differences in the degree of preference for nursing specialty between students from single-child families and non-single-child families. The former showed more occupational preference than the latter, while there were no significant differences in the professional knowledge and learning attitude between the two.(2) Factors influencing the nursing technical manipulation examination results:There were significant differences in higher vocational nursing students’ operational skills examination results between students of different ages and annual family incomes. Students of the higher age level got higher scores than the lower level. Students with higher family incomes got lower scores than those from lower incomes families. There are significant differences in nursing students’ average scores between different personality groups; those with extraversion, sensing, thinking and judging personality got higher scores than those within troversion, intuition, feeling, perceiving personality.Suggestions:(1) To implement mental health education effectively;(2) To improve the professional thinking for health care professionals.
