Objective:This study is aimed to build preliminary evaluation system of undergraduatecourse of disaster nursing abi lity, to find out the appropriate questionnaire with goodvalidity and reliability to assess the disaster nursing ability for undergraduate nursingstudent, also as to instantly improve the relevant evaluation tool, and provide anobjective evidence for further exploring the status of nurse students’ disaster nursingand caring ability, and expand disaster nursing care courses in the future. In the end, build foundation for training high-quality talents in the field of disaster medicalrescue.Method:In order to discuss the ability of nursing major undergraduate students in disasterresponse and construct undergraduate’s disaster response ability evaluation system.Delphi experts inst. Draw the evaluation system framework on the basis of consultingliterature material and analyzing theories.35related experts attend inst. Evaluate thechoice according to the5classification Likert evaluation method. The researchmethod for producing the questionnaire is based on the research about the currentdisasters nursing ability framework and the relevant research literatures, the interviewto disaster nursing experts, group discussion and the experts’ evaluation. From May2011to July2011,on the basis of stratified cluster sampling method,710nursingstudents from different grades in four nursing universities were chosen to be theparticipants, and tested every seven days for two weeks to evaluate the reliability andvalidity of the target questionnaires through internal consistency reliability, correlationand exploratory factor analysis. The research suggested that the designedquestionnaire for evaluating the undergraduatesnursing students’ disaster nursingability evaluation is proofed with good reliability and validity; Thus, it can be used asthe professional tool to evaluate the disasters nursing ability of undergraduate nursingstudents.Using the internal consistency reliability analysis, correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis method and so on to test reliability and validity of questionnaire. Using t test, anova, and Logistic regression analysis the influencefactors of undergraduate course of disaster nursing ability of nursing students. Results:Expert advice positive coefficients was100%, the suggestion number (63%),authority coefficient is0.7886, two rounds of enquiry for coordination coefficient is0.094-0.258, have examined the chi-square difference was statistically significant (P<0.01), shows a certain coordination; Questionnaire overall Cronbach’s α coefficientis0.9649, retest reliability is0.9652, content validity index of CVI0.94had statisticalsignificance (P <0.01); Exploratory factor analysis was carried out on the710samples, the results show that the KM0value of0.959, and Bartlett sphere test resultssignificantly(χ~2=21575.56,df=1081, P<0.01P <0.01), which is suitable for factoranalysis; Nursing undergraduates disaster ability must divided into3.17±0.60, on theverge of passing; Nursing undergraduates disaster ability each dimension score fromhigh to low were physical quality scored is3.79±0.77and the knowledge system is3.11±0.60, practice skill score is3.08±0.68; Through statistical analysis of the totalscore of nursing undergraduates in disaster nursing ability, found that gender, originto category characteristics of two sets of scores are no statistical difference (P>0.01);Age, grade, school type, the one-child, disasters, to participate in disaster knowledgetraining, to participate in disaster emergency drills, participate in disaster relief, believe their own ability to adapt to on-site rescue and heard of the term "disasternursing", etc. The total score of10factors had statistical difference (P <0.01), withsignificant statistical significance. Conclusion:The index system is reliable, this study can provides the reference forundergraduate disaster nursing ability of nursing students and research; Developed bythe nursing undergraduate students questionnaire has good reliability and validity ofdisaster nursing ability, can be as an evaluation tool of undergraduate course ofdisaster nursing ability of nursing students; Related health education departmentshould strengthen the nursing ability of nursing undergraduates disasters, disasternursing teaching, vigorously strengthen the nursing undergraduates disaster nursingknowledge and skills training, disaster nursing practice ability training and personal qualities to expand, improve the ability of disaster nursing.
