Study On The Disaster Nursing Training Curriculum In Hainan Province

?Objective?To understand the importance and needs for nursing competence of various disasters and the evaluation of training feasibility and to determine the framework of the competency of disaster nursing in Hainan province.On this basis,the disaster nursing training courses for nurses in Hainan province were set up,including training projects,training content and time setting,so as to provide a basis for medical institutions in Hainan province to carry out disaster relief nursing education and training scientifically,standardized and systematically.?Methods?(1)Investigation and research on disaster nursing competence in Hainan Province.Analyzing and obtaining relevant data on disaster nursing competence,competence framework and nursing capacity of nursing staff at home and abroad based on literature survey.Comparison of disaster nursing ability and competency,Combined with the characteristics of rescue in Hainan,refining and summarizing the nurses' competency of disaster nursing of Hainan.On this basis,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the nursing staff at various levels of medical institutions in Hainan Province to understand their assessment of disaster nursing competence.According to the results of the survey,the competence framework was adjusted and improved,and the disaster nurses framework of fundamental competencies in Hainan Province were finally formed.(2)Using Delphi method to determine the curriculum of disaster nursing training in Hainan Province.On the basis of the previous part of the research,through theexpert consultation method,to fully understand the opinions of experts in relevant fields on the content of disaster nursing training courses,and repeatedly revised and established the disaster nursing training courses in Hainan Province,including course items,course contents,time settings,teaching methods and training goals.?Results?On the basis of summarizing the literature analysis,the questionnaire survey was used to investigate the nurses in Hainan province,which show that nurses at all levels of hospitals recognized the importance,the needs and the feasibility of training for disaster nursing competence..The core competencies required by Hainan nurses in disaster rescue include 3 dimensions,10 primary index(disaster required special ability,physical and psychological quality,emergency nursing ability,patient management ability,psychological nursing ability,safety protection ability,etc.),and the corresponding 36 secondary indexes.Through two-rounds of expert consultation,disaster nursing training courses for nurses in Hainan province is finally determined,which include three dimensions,9training programs(disaster nursing theory,pre-disaster preparedness capacity,ethics and legal practice,emergency nursing,patient management,psychological care,safety protection,information communication and sharing,post-disaster nursing and post-disaster reconstruction),32 training contents.This curriculum has a variety of teaching methods and corresponding training objectives.The total reference time is79 hours.?Conclusions?Faced of the particularity of disaster resuce of Hainan Province,nursing staff as an important force in the disaster relief,should be familiar with the relevant knowledge,and have the core competence of disaster nursing care,to carry out effective disaster prevention and disaster reduction work.The disaster nursing training and education is one of the important measures to improve the rescue efficiency.The training curriculum setting determined in this study is based on the characteristics of disaster nursing rescue and the needs of nursing staff.It is guided by the disaster nursing competency.The process is scientific and rigorous.The training curriculumset in this study,which include the rescue capability required for each stage of disaster rescue.The teaching form is diverse,and the total learning time is reasonable.In the application process,various contents of the curriculum can be adjusted according to the region,type of disaster,training target,and needs.To provide basis and practical guidance for medical institutions at all levels in Hainan Province to carry out disaster relief and nursing education and training systematically and systematically.
