Objective: Evaluation in combination with discectomy the Dynesys and simplediscectomy treatment of the young lumbar disc herniation patients interim treatment effecton lumbar stability, and provide the basis for future surgical planning. Methods: A retrospective analysis of2009~2010surgical discectomy for lumbardisc herniation combined Dynesys patients (Dynesys group)26cases,50patients withsimple discectomy, laminectomy half of them (semi-laminectomy group)25cases ofvertebral cubicle row fenestration (windows group)25cases. All patients were40years ofage single segment disc, have significant back pain, with unilateral or bilateral lowerextremity pain. Follow-up period of2-3years, with an average follow-up of28months.The evaluation criteria at Oswestry Disability Index questionnaire (ODI), pain VAS scoreand improvement Macnab (modified Maxwell) method. Stability of lumbar spine X-rayfilm camera function compared with preoperative may be.Result: Three groups of patients after interim clinical results exactly, Oswestryfunctional disability index (ODI), preoperative pain VAS scores were significantlyimproved, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Group3patients interimclinical efficacy, Dynesys group Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), pain VAS scores weresignificantly better than half the improvement laminectomy group (P <0.017), Windowgroup Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) of improve significantly better than thesemi-laminectomy group (P <0.017), while Dynesys group and W group showed nosignificant difference (P>0.017), three groups of patients interim good rate compared nosignificant difference (P>0.017);3groups of patients the incidence of mid-lumbar instability comparison, Dynesys unstable group was significantly lower than halflaminectomy group (P <0.017), while the group with the windows Dynesys group,semi-laminectomy group and W group unstable no statistically significant difference in theincidence (P>0.017). Dynesys group had no recurrence of disc herniation, no lumbarinstability; Window group1patients disc recurrence, one case of lumbar instability. Conclusion: Discectomy combined Dynesys and simple discectomy for lumbar discherniation can achieve good medium-term clinical efficacy, which Dynesys group tomaintain clinical efficacy improved more reliable. For the stability of the lumbar spine andsurgical related discectomy combined Dynesys treatment of lumbar disc herniation patientsyounger performance superior to some of the medium-term, to prevent prominent anddegeneration of adjacent segments, recurrence, instability better.
