Building Medical Ontology Base And Its Semantic Applications

In2012a rapid growth of semantic technology happens in China. It gives us a newangle of view to the Internet with the usage of semantic querying engine and ontologytechnology. Now semantic technology has been used in a wide range of fields. Semanticweb technology also gets involved in medical informationization field.Chinese government unveils fresh policy to improve the situation of medical careservice in2010. Informationization Technology has been used as the most effective wayto solve the problem.<Health data element dictionary> was published by the Ministryof Public Health.In this article we mainly discuss this problem: How to build a medical ontologybase by using the <health data element dictionary>? The contributions are as follows：1. In this paper, we studied and compared the methods of how to build a ontologydatabase by automatic, half-automatic or manual. We designed the flow of building ourown ontology database and structure of the ontology database system.2. By deeply learning <health data element dictionary>, include Metadatastructure content and relevance applications. We presented building ontology databasebase on <health data element dictionary> in the first time.3. Focused on applications based on HL7CDA that resolved the problem how dataexchange between different relational databases. And we designed the data mappingengine base on CDA Schema technology.4. Complete the design scheme of building ontology database, together with theCDA Schema mapping engine, and ontology database. We get connection with therelational database in intra-area.5. Compared with3H ontology database, and analyze both of them.
