Thai TV drama became one of the bright scenery on China’s Screen after the impact of Japanese TV drama, South Korean TV soaps and American TV drama. A survey among Japanese TV drama and South Korea TV soaps, Thai TV drama and American TV drama was conducted in the Chinese website, The result is that Thai TV drama won8000votes, while the most popular drama added up to no more than2000votes. The average of Thai TV drama is about60per year, China has introduced its total output value of1/4, and not only the new Thai TV drama is very popular, the’old’Thailand TV also very popular in China. Today, Thailand as a limited cultural influence relatively, but Thai TV drama has a certain influence in China, why the spread of Thai TV drama is so successful? How Thai TV drama to caught Chinese audience’s eyes? What aesthetic demand does the Chinese audience have, and Thai TV drama meet them by what? What implications can we have from this phenomenon?Based on the’audience social type theory’, the present paper limitation the Thai TV drama’s audience groups in Chinese, and determined their characteristics.
