Along with the technology of pulse power source development, it has put forward strict requirements of the parameter test, the measurement and control system performance. The traditional test equipment has gradually cannot satisfy the control system requirements. So the advanced bus and research the special module are particularly prominent. Based on this, the topic apply virtual instrument and computer measurement and control technology, design a timing control module to meet the special requirements of measurement and control system.VXI bus has outstanding feature, it is widely used in military, aerospace and other application. VXI bus technology is taken into control system of pulse power source. And puts forward a kind of design scheme multi-channel timing trigger module based on VXI bus technology, in order to meet the control system of pulse power source needs.Using FPGA technology, design the VXI bus register-based interface circuit and function units of multi-channel timing generation and delay check, adjustable parameter timing pulse, and the related function units are analyzed. Successfully applied multi-channel timing trigger module is based on the VXI bus register-based into pulse power source control system.The module driver is developed by Labwindows/CVI in software design. It can realize the instrument interchangeability. Design application software on the basis of the driver. Design different display user interface account to different function units. The module realizes data communication and related control through VXI interface.Finally, Experimental study of timing trigger module, the phenomena and data of the experiment show that the module has more stable and reliable running, channels, adjustable parameters, better oppose disturbances and easy to upgrade etc., it is a key module to build VXI bus control system of the pulse power source.
