A Study On The Behavioral Intention Of TCM Health Management For Patients With Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Based On The Theory Of Planned Behavior

Objective To compile a TCM health management behavior intention questionnaire for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease patients based on the theory of planned behavior,construct a TCM health management behavior intention prediction model for patients with NAFLD,explore the psychosocial factors affecting the participation of NAFLD patients in TCM health management,provide basis for optimizing TCM health management strategies for patients with NAFLD,improve participation and compliance of TCM health management in patients with NAFLD,enhance the effectiveness of TCM health management in NAFLD patients.Methods 225 NAFLD patients were selected from a Third-level Grade A hospital in Wuhan city as the research objects,and the self-developed questionnaire(Questionnaire on behavioral intention of TCM health management for NAFLD patients)was used as the measuring tool for the investigation and research.Using SPSS 19.0 software to descriptive statistical analysis and questionnaire survey data reliability test,AMOS 22.0 software is adopted to improve the validity of the questionnaire test and structure equation model analysis.Results 1.Results of questionnaire: The questionnaire on behavioral intention of TCM health management for NAFLD patients was divided into the basic information part and the behavioral intention measurement part of TCM health management.The behavioral intention measurement part of TCM health management included 4 dimensions and 14 items.The Cronbach’s α of the questionnaire was 0.900,and the Cronbach’s αof each dimension was between 0.850 and 0.906,indicating good internal consistency of the questionnaire;The retest reliability of the questionnaire was 0.799,and the retest reliability coefficient of each dimension was between 0.732 and 0.788.The content validity index(i-cvi)of the questionnaire items with good stability was greater than 0.83;The content validity index(s-cvi)of the scale was 0.92,and the content validity of the questionnaire was good;The factor loads of each item in the questionnaire ranged from 0.720 to 0.978,and the combined reliability values of the four dimensions were 0.920,0.880,0.927 and 0.870,respectively.The mean variance of the four dimensions was 0.795,0.710,0.810 and 0.691,the structural validity of the questionnaire was good.2.Results of the model: Patients with NAFLD TCM health management behavior intention model contains 4 latent variables,12 observation variables,and 13 error variation.THE df of model of is 44,model can identify convergence,no model defined error,the X2 is 83.632(p < 0.001),the X2/df is 1.901,GFI value of 0.946,AGFI value of 0.904,RMSEA value of 0.063,NFI value of 0.960,RFI value of 0.940,TLI value of 0.970,the sample data and behavior intention model adaptation degree is good.3.Model path relationship: The path relationship discussed in the model is the action path of three external potential variables on the behavior intention of internal potential variables,namely behavioral attitude,subjective norms and perceived behavior control.The direct effect values of the three paths are 0.218,0.214 and 0.211 respectively,all P values are less than 0.05,all have significant significance,and the three paths have positive promoting effect on behavioral intention.Conclusion The reliability and validity of the questionnaire on behavioral intention of TCM health management for NAFLD patients were good.The behavioral intention model of TCM health management for NAFLD patients has reasonable parameter estimation,good validity and good fitting with sample data,so the model can be accepted.Behavioral attitude,subjective norms and perceived behavioral control of NAFLD patients have a positive promoting effect on behavioral intention.The theory of planned behavior is applicable to the study on the intention of TCM health management for NAFLD patients.In optimizing health management strategy can be based on the theory of planned behavior,help patients to set up correct cognition,attaches great importance to the company,to mobilize families support patients and medical staff to help create a good health management policy environment to improve the patient’s health management,promote the development of NAFLD TCM health management and improvement.
