Study On The Medical Ethonobotany Of The Naiman Banner Mongolians In Inner Mongolia

The Naiman Banner is the study object of this paper.In this paper,auther investigates medical ethnobotany knowledge of the mongolian people in Naiman Banner.The results are as follows:Seven folk healers provide the34medications what they own make up and146kinds of drugs,among them,there are110species of plant medicine, accounting for75.34%.To the resource of drugs,the drugs collected by their own are accounting for47.95%.Seven Naiman Banner folk healers of Inner Mongolia mainly take the combined use of the mongolian naming chinese naming and Tibetan medicines naming to name the drug.The knowledge about uses of meidicinal plants what Naiman Banner folk healers possess including the selecting of species and part used, methods for preparing medicine and understanding of adaptation disease or functuion.A total of69species and1varieties of medicinal plants used by the seven Naiman Banner folk healers; To the parts used of medicinal plants used by Naiman Banner folk healers,the entire grass category are common,roots and rhizome category,fruit and seeds category are followed.the category of flower and other are not common. They has the detailed understanding about adaptation disease or functuion of medicinal wild plants. But they can not distinguish adaptation disease and functuion definitely. To the most species of medicinal plants, seven Naiman Banner folk healers only offerd the information about adaptation disease of22species, function of6species,and offerd adaptation disease and function of42species.Moreover,to the use of medicinal plants, the methods are taken.which are similar to processing, formulation, dosage form and medication methods, these methods all are simply and easy to use.This thesis based on the calculated method of Ecological Sorenson Similarity Index, author also calculated the similarity of medicinal plants species what seven Naiman Banner folk healers used. On the selecting of species and part used of medicinal plants,there are many differencies between seven Naiman Banner folk healers.This paper compared the70species of medicinal plants used by seven Naiman Banner folk healers with Mongolia medicine and Hebal medicine.the result shows that48species were used for Mongolia medicine,66species were used for Chinese herbs,36species were recorded on the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia",and64species were recorded on the "Drug Notes of plants in Inner Mongolia". Therefore,it can be seen clearly that there is Consistency between the wild plants used by Naiman Banner folk healers and Mongolia medicine and Chinese herbs.4species plants of recorded neither in Mongolia medicine nor Chinese herbs, such as Allium anisopodium、Kochia prostrata、 Krascheniniikovia arborescens、Salix gordejevii.It offered clues for work of finding new plant species and its medicinal methods.
