Objective:To construct training mode of undergraduate nursing students based on experience so as to provide some references for the reform of undergraduate nursing education reform.Methods:(1) Through the method of brainstorming, a meeting between teachers and students is called for to gather opinions and suggestions, hence to draw the interview outline.(2) With the approach of phenomenological research, data were collected and analyzed from in-depth interviews with11nursing experts in Guizhou Province, collecting and analyzing data as well as selecting research themes. The training objectives of undergraduate nursing are improved according to the results of expert interviews, expert discussions and certifications.(3) Curriculum systems in line with the characteristics of experience learning are built up with the approach of survey of course interaction effects, and according to the results experts discussion and certification framework.(4) By cluster sampling and use of "Kolb Experiential Learning Styles Inventory ",70nursing faculties and1230undergraduate nursing students in Zunyi Medical College are polled to investigate and analyze their characteristics of learning styles.(5)Through expert discussion and data-based research, this study builds up the evaluation system from the multi-dimensional, multi-faceted way.Results:A training mode for nursing undergraduates based on experience is constructed. including the following four aspects:(1) the formation of the cultivating objectives for nursing students based on experience.(2) The setting up of curriculum consists of four modules and10courses group, including course modules of the public infrastructure(with6course groups), basic medical course module, nursing professional curriculum modules (including3Curriculum Groups) and the hidden curriculum module.(3)The characteristics of the experiential learning style of the undergraduate nursing students and teachers is summarized and analyzed. Based on the results of the preliminary development, the teaching measures are set up, tested and constantly revised in the practice of teaching activities.(4) According to the different natures of the courses, the forms of different assessments are taken, such as the theory test, operational evaluation, objective structured assessment, scene experience assessment to examine the students’ overall situation, combining individual assessment with team assessment included in the evaluation areas.Conclusions:(1) It can promote students’cognitive skills, emotional coordination development for the purpose of training objectives with some scientific nature and feasibility. With the experience teaching concept as a guide, the content of the undergraduate nursing courses are in line with students’ cognitive development of the law. Phases and levels of experience teaching can help students to complete the transition from perceptual to rational knowledge, and promote students to explore their own potential and to enhance the overall quality of the teaching activities of the organization. It can help students to change from cognitive understanding to rational understanding.(2) From the point of view of talent cultivation mode based on the four elements (training objectives, curriculum, teaching methods, evaluations), the experiential learning concept is built to train high-quality practical nursing talents as the goal to improve the overall quality of undergraduate nursing students. The core is a three-stage cycle ascending (cognitive, developing, mature) nursing undergraduate training mode. And it provides a guidance for the teaching reform of undergraduate nursing education.
