Objective:The study aimed at establishing a scientific,objective and comprehensive evaluation index system for Performance Appraisal of Operating Room Nurses, which is used to improve Operation Nurses’ overall quality,mobilize their enthusiasm of work fully and nursing management operate sciencely and efficiently.Methobs:Based on the literature review and KRIF performance structure theory and Analytic Hierarchy Process, using qualitative research and expert group discussion,primary items for the evaluation system were collected which includes four dimesions of Key Performance, Routine Performance,Irregular Performance,Future Performance.By tow rounds consultation of41HuNan experts using Delphi,the system structure was established,which includes definition of index, assessment method and their relative weight.The Enthusiam coefficient of experts,the Authority Coefficient of experts,the Coefficients of Variation and Harmonization Coefficient W were used to examine the reliability and representation of expert consultation.Results:The Index System for performance Appraisal of Ladder-duty Operating Room Nurses patten was constructed by the content of items, assessment methods and relative weight of each item. The items had three levels:the first items,the secondary items and the third items.The items of group leaders has4first items,10secondary items and37third items;The items of senior nurses has4first items,10secondary items and36third items;The items of primary nurses has4first items,9secondary items and30third items;The items of assistant nurses has4first items,9secondary items and30third items.After2rounds of expert consultation,the opion of the experts was nearly consistent. The Coefficients of variation of the importance of all items ranged form0.00to0.20,those of operability of all items ranged form0.00to0.22(<0.30).Conclusions:A set of Index System for Performance Appraisal of HuNan Operating Room Nurses was established, which composed of4first indexes,9to10secondary indexes and30to37third indexes. It also includes indax structure,definition,assessment method and their relative weight. The reliability of the2rounds expert consultation showed that the expert consultations had good reliability and representation.
