Objective:The purpose of this study is to initially establish a set of evaluation indicators system for emergency response ability of operating room nurses in accordance with China's national conditions, and to provide an objective reference for assessing the operating room nurses' ability to respond to emergencies, and to provide an emergency response to emergencies in the operating room.Personnel selection, training, reserve, appointment and evaluation lay the theoretical foundation.Method:1.This study used a literature analysis method and a semi-structured expert interview method to tentatively draw up draft performance evaluation indicators for operating room nurses in responding to emergencies.2.Using Delphi method to determine the concept of the ability of operating room nurses to respond to emergencies and the evaluation index system items. The use of Microsoft Excel2016,SPSS 22.0 software to organize experts' opinion and results, statistics and analysis.Calculate the index weight coefficient.3.Based on the evaluation index system of the nurses' ability to respond to emergencies in the operating room,we prepared an operating room nurses' response to emergencies ability questionnaire, and conducted an empirical analysis of 460 operating room nurses in some second and third-level hospitals in the province,by using Amos software. The results were analyzed and the Cronbach's coefficient was calculated to verify the reliability and validity of the index system.Result:1.Explore the concept of operating room nurses' ability to respond to emergencies. The ability of operating room nurses to respond to emergencies means that the ability of operating room nurses to respond to emergencies refers to the fact that registered nurses engaged in operating room care successfully deal with emergencies that suddenly occur inthe operating room and may endanger the lives of patients and medical personnel or cause property damage. The overall quality that it possesses is an important basis for selecting, training, storing, appointing, and evaluating emergency personnel in the operating room.2.A preliminary evaluation system for operating room nurses' ability to respond to emergencies was constructed.Including 6 first-level indicators,24 second-level indicators,86 third-level indicators, and index weight coefficients at all levels were good.3.The two rounds of expert selection were representative and the prediction results had high reliability and authority. The effective recovery rate of the two rounds of expert questionnaires was 100%,indicating that the experts had high enthusiasm for the topic;the authority degree coefficient of experts was 0.922.4.The rankings of the six primary indicators of this index system from high to low are: emergency skills(0.174),theoretical knowledge(0.170),communication skills(0.169),professional qualities(0.167),organizational capabilities(0.160),management capacity(0.159).5.The reliability and validity of the operating room nurses' evaluation index system for emergency incidents constructed in this study were good. The total index system Cronbach's ? was 0.976.Cronbach's ? of the six first-level indicators was between0.821-0.926,and the correlation coefficient between the first-level indicators and the index system was between 0.375-0.919,P<0.05.The results were statistically significant.Conclusion:1.This study explores the concept of operating room nurses' ability to respond to emergencies. After two rounds of expert enquiries,an evaluation index system for nurses' ability to response to emergencies in the operating room was constructed. The index weight coefficients at all levels were good.2.After empirical analysis, evaluation index system for emergencies response ability of operating room nurses had a good reliability and validity, which lays the foundation for the assessment of the operating room nurses' ability to response to emergencies, and also provided a theoretical basis for targeted continuing education and training.
