Objective:We aimed to explore the operating room nurses'job burnout levels and investigate its possible related risk factors, and provide evidence to make intervention measures to improve nursing management work in the future. Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study using structured questionnaire.Convenient sampling method was used. The operating room nurses from four general hospitals in Jinan,Shandong province were selected as the study objects and the results were analyzed based on the ABC-X model.SPSS23.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Descriptive statistical analysis was performed for general data.We used T test or ANOVA to analyze the difference between job burnout levels and general data.Pearson correlation analysis was used to study the relationship between job burnout status of operating room nurse and individual factors(general data.mental resilience and stress perception),family factors and social factors(work family conflict and social support).Multivariate regression analysis was applied to analyze the related factors affecting the job burnout status of operating room nurses.Results:1.A total of 310 questionnaires were distributed and 289 valid questionnaires were collected, and the percentage of effective questionnaires was 93.20%.Among the 289 subjects,226 were females,63 were males2.The total score of MBI was(37.65±17.73),the score of emotional exhaustion was(18.02±7.63),the average score of depersonalization was(7,57±4.97),the average score of personal accomplishment was(12.06±8.03).The positive rate of job burnout was 87.90%among 289 nurses.3.The score of the Work Family Conflict Inventory was(47.73±11.77),score of Perceived Social Support Scale was(68.88±10.53),the score of Resilience Scale was(28.31±6.02),the score of Perceived Stress Scale was(17.66±4.77),the score of self-rated health status of Self-rated Health Measurement Scale V1.0 was(135.7±16.26),respectively.4.The related factors of emotional exhaustion score were age, education background, work post and exercise(P<0.05);the related factors of depersonalization score were marriage status, night shift and overtime work(P<0.05);the related factors of personal accomplishment score was night shift(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the score of WFCI was positively correlated with the dimensions and total scores of job burnout in operating room nurses(P<0.01).The scores of PSSS and Resilience Scale were negatively correlated with job burnout(P<0.001).The scores of Perceived Stress Scale was only correlated with depersonalization dimension score and total score(P<0.001).The score of SRHMS was negatively correlated with job burnout(P<0.01).5.Multivariate analysis showed that age, physical activity function, time dimension and behavior dimension of Work Family Conflict Inventory,Perceived Social Support Scale were negatively correlated with emotional exhaustion(P<0.001).There was relationship between depersonalization and physical activity function, time dimension and behavior dimension of WFCI(P<0.05,P<0.001).Personal accomplishment was correlated with time and behavior dimensions of WFCI(P<0.001).The job burnout status of operating room nurses was correlated with physical activity function, time dimension and behavior dimension of WFCI(P<0.05,P<0.001).Conclusion:1.The job burnout levels of nurses in operating room was serious, and the total score of Maslach Burnout Inventory was(37.65±17.73).The managers of hospital should pay attention to the job burnout of nurses in operating rooms, and provide targeted help and guidance based on the specific reasons.2.The operating room nurses with poor physical health are more likely to suffer from job burnout. So,career planning education and regular exercise plan should be carried out at the early stage. The job burnout are more serious among the nurses which have more work and longer working time.Operating room nurses should balance the work and family life.Hospital managers should provide support and care to the nurses both in work and life.Job burnout can be caused by lower psychological resilience of nurses in operating room,so the managers should focus on the nurses'psychological resilience training to avoid the job burnout.
