Objective:Investigate patients and nurses perceptions of perioperative care quality of the third-grade class-A hospitals in Changchun, Jilin Province, find the difference between patients and nurses, analyses the influencing factors of patient and nurse perceptions of perioperative care quality,find out relationship between Patient satisfaction with all dimensions of the operating room nursing quality.Then put forward suggestions and countermeasures to improve the operating room nursing quality, provide important clues and evidence to meet the needs of surgery patients better. Methods:The study adopted convenience campling cethod, selecting 320 nurses and 320 patients of 3 third-grade class-A hospitals in Changchun between January to December 2015 as the research object. Research tools mainly include basic information questionnaire of operating room nurses and patients, Good Perioperative Nursing Care Scale(GPNCS) and evaluation of patients’ satisfaction with nursing in operation room. Scales for nurse include basic information questionnaire of operating room nurse and GPNCS(Nurses Edition); Scales for patient include basic information questionnaire of patient, GPNCS(Patients Edition) and patients’ satisfaction with nursing in operation room. Epi Data3.0 software used to establish a database, SPSS20.0 for statistical analysis. Statistical methods include: descriptive analysis, Mann-Whitney U Test, Kruskal-Wallis Test, Nemenyi Test, Spearman’s Correlation Analysis and Multiple linear regression analysis etc. Results:1.The score of nurses’ perceptions of perioperative care quality is 4.31(Median), the evaluation are at a higher level. Each dimension score ranked from high to low is Medical staff characteristics, Respect, Body care, Environment, Giving/Accepting information, Support, Nursing process.2.The score of patients’ perceptions of perioperative care quality is 4.66(Median), the evaluation are at a higher level. Each dimension score ranked from high to low is Respect, Medical staff characteristics, Environment, Body care, Nursing process, Giving/Accepting information, Support.3.Comparing each dimension score between patient and nurse, except Support dimension, the other dimension score difference among groups all have statistically significance(P<0.05), of which patients’ scores are all higher than nurses’.4.Single factor analysis results showed that different gender, age, educational background, professional title, working years, job, and employment of nurses in the evaluation of nursing quality in operation room have significant differences(P <0.05).5.Single factor analysis results showed that different gender, age, marital status, medical pay style, occupation, family residence, type of surgery, anesthesia patients have significant difference of operating room nursing quality evaluation(P<0.05).6.Sperman correlation analysis results showed that each dimension score of the satisfaction of patient to operating room nursing and operating room nursing quality are in a significant positive correlation(P<0.05), correlation coefficient rs is 0.319 ~ 0.319. Conclusions:1.Patient and nurse perceptions of perioperative care quality are well in general.2.There are differences between patient and nurse perceptions of perioperative care quality, except the dimension of support, patients evaluation were higher than nurses,.3.Gender, age, educational background, professional title, working years, job, employment is the main factors influencing the nurse perceptions of perioperative care quality.4.Gender, age, marital status, medical payment, occupation, family residence type, type of surgery and anesthesia is the main factors influencing patients perceptions of perioperative care quality.5.Patients’ satisfaction with nursing in operation room increased with the scores of each dimension of the GPNCS.
