The4,5years roots of Panax gingseng were collected from four thirteen altritudes of different altitude areas, the ginsenosides of Panax ginseng roots was extracted by Soxhlet extraction method and its content was measured by Colorimetry,and its Ginseng monomer saponin content was measured by HPLC method.The test studied the trend of of the content of ginsenosides and Ginseng monomer saponin from the ginseng with the altitude going up.The aim is to analysis the differences of the content of ginsenosides and Ginseng monomer saponin from the ginseng of the different altitudes.At the same time,because the different of chemical composition in ginseng and Panax quinque folium,the ginsenoside composition of them were studied to analysis the difference of the content of ginsenosides and Ginseng monomer saponin in ginseng and Panax quinquefolium.The Liposoluble Constituents of Panax ginseng and Panax quinquefolium were analysized to provide a theoretical basis for the study of the active composition and pharmacological effects of ginseng and Panax quinquefolium.The results are as follow:1. The study of Different Altitude on Ginsenosides in Panax ginsengResults have shown that:The content of the ginsenosides was increased with the age of the ginseng increasing. The content of the ginsenosides was increased with the altitude going up in Ji’an, Hunchun and Fusong regions. It was decreased with the altitude going up in Changbai region. At the same altitude region, the ginsenosides content in the ginseng roots in Ji’an region was higher than that in Fusong region.The ginsenosides content in5years old ginseng roots in600meter altitude of Ji’an region was highest, which is41.54mg/g. The ginsenosides content in4years old ginseng roots in1423meter altitude of Changbai region was lowest,which is28.29mg/g. The ginsenosides content in the ginseng roots at the altitude from400m to952m is higher than that at others altitudes.It is suitable for the cultivation of ginseng.In four regions,For the average ginsenosides content, Ji’an>Fusong>Changbai>Hunchun, the ginsenosides average content is highest in Ji’an region,The ginseng in is Ji’an region is better than the other three regions.2. The study of Different Altitude on Ginseng monomer saponin in Panax ginsengThe results are as follows in the altitude from127meter to800meter:The content of4,5years old Ginseng monomer saponin Rg1、Rg2、Rb1、Rc and Re were increased with the altitude going up in Hunchun,Ji’an and Fusong regions. The content of4,5years old Ginseng monomer saponin Rf、Rb2and Rb3were irregular with the altitude going up in Hunchun,Ji’an and Fusong regions. The results are as follows in the altitude from952meter to1423meter:The content of4,5years old Ginseng monomer saponin Rg1、 Rg2、Rc、Re、Rf、Rb1、Rb2and Rb3were decreased with the altitude going up in Changbai region.The content of4,5years old Ginseng monomer saponin Rd was irregular with the altitude going up in Hunchun,Ji’an Fusong and Changbai.The results are as follows in500and600meters same altitudes:The content of4,5-year old Ginseng monomer saponin Rg1、Re、Rf、Rb1、R、was higer in Ji’an than that in Fusong. The content of4,5-year old Ginseng monomer saponin Rg2was higer in Fusong than that in. Ji’an. The difference of the content of4,5-year old Ginseng monomer saponin Rb2、Rb3and Rd change irregularly.The results are as follows in the altitude from127meter to800meter:The ginseng monomer saponin Rf、 Rb2、Rb3ang Rd are divided into insensitive ginseng monomer saponin for altitude. The content of4,5years old Ginseng monomer saponin Rf、Rb2、Rb3and Rd increase obviously in some altitude,and the content of them change smoothly,and the content of four kinds of ginseng monomer saponin change irregularly.The content of Ginseng monomer saponin Rf、Rb2、Rb3and Rd in13altitudes are insensitive for altitude. The ginseng monomer saponin Rg1、Rg2、Re、Rb1and Re are divided into sensitive ginseng monomer saponin for altitude. The content of4,5years old Ginseng monomer saponin Rg1、Rg2、Re、Rb1and Re is greater more than30%, that is great between maximum and minimum,and the content of them change obviously in others altitudes,and the content of five kinds of ginseng monomer saponin change regularly. The content of Ginseng monomer saponin Rg1、Rg2、Re、Rb1and Re in13altitudes are sensitive for altitude.3. The study on chemical composition in Panax ginseng and Panax quinquefoliumThe content of Ginseng monomer saponin Rb1in Panax quinquefolium is much more than in ginseng, The content of Ginseng monomer saponin Re in Panax quinquefolium is4.8times more than that in ginseng. The content of Ginseng monomer saponin Rd in Panax quinquefolium is2times more than that in ginseng.But The content of Ginseng monomer saponin Rg1in ginseng is2.4times more than that in Panax quinquefolium. The content of Ginseng monomer saponin Rf、Rg2and Rb2in ginseng is much more than in Panax quinquefolium,But the content of Ginseng monomer saponin Re and Rb3in ginseng is similar to that in Panax quinquefolium.It is obvious that Ginseng monomer saponin Re and Rb1is major in Panax quinquefolium,The percent of the content of Re and Rb1in Ginsenosides is over50%, There is not Ginseng monomer saponin Rf,and the content of Ginseng monomer saponin Rg2is little in Panax quinquefolium.The difference of the content of Ginseng monomer saponin in ginseng and Panax quinquefolium is great.The major composition are alcohols, esters and fatty acid compounds in41kinds of liposoluble constituents of Panax ginseng and Panax quinquefolium By comparing the liposoluble constituents of Panax ginseng and Panax quinquefolium,we find that the highest content is (Z)-9-Heptadecene-4,6-diyn-8-ol,the next higher content is Sterols.the content of Sterols is32.30%in the liposoluble constituents of Panax ginseng,and it is19.05%in the liposoluble constituents of Panax quinquefolium.But the content of fatty acid composition in ginseng is obviously higher than that is in Panax quinquefolium.The content of (Z)-7,11-dimethyl-3-methylen e-1,6,10-Dodecatriene in the liposoluble constituents of Panax quinquefolium is1.12%,but there in not (Z)-7,11-dimethyl-3-methylene-1,6,10-Dodecatriene in the liposoluble constituents of ginseng.
