The main achievements made in the paperare as follows:Through the collection has happened tailings accident material, at internal andabroad to tailings dam paper stability analysis, this paper summarizes the characteristicsof the tailings in our country. Summary of slope stability analysis method to get theadvantages and disadvantages of each method, and finally selected papers the numericalsimulation way, choose widely used in geotechnical engineering, non-linear calculationof good performance in FLAC3Dsoftware for the computing platforms.Tailings dam on the stability factor analysis mainly from the external cause andinternal cause two aspects.
