This research was financially supported by a grant (No.20050202-3) for the KeyProjects in Agriculture awarded by Department of Science and Technology of JilinProvince. The feasibility of the preparation of eggshells calcium organic acid withpulsed electric field (PEF) and calcium supplement capacity were explored andanalyzed. On this basis, three kinds of eggshell calcium organic acid prepared by PEFwas focused on the analysis respectively, the optimal process parameters wereobtained. And compared with traditional methods, three organic calcium productionsprocessed efficiency comparative analysis. Calcium citrate malate produced under theoptimum process was prepared chewable tablets. The optimum formula of calciumcitrate malate chewable tablet was obtained. Then calcium supplement capacity wasanalyzed. The theoretical guidance was provided for the eggshell organic calciumproducts.1. The main conclutions at analysis and pretreatment of the raw nutrients are asfollows:(1) Eggshells have moisture of1.06%,ash of81.57%,fat of2.62%,protein of2.41%,calcium of90.94%and magnesium of0.48%.(2) The optimization takes the theca separating agent elimination egg theca using thewater the most superior technological parameter is: The pellet degree of fineness200items, mixing time10min, settlement time20min, the shell rate achieve97.04%.2. The finding in the preparation for eggshell calcium organic acid with pulsedelectric field method:(1) The highest dissoluble eggshell calcium malate content was7.075mg/mL whenthe malic acid concentration was6.0%, the electric field intensity was20kV/cm,and the total pulse number was12. The optimized conditions of eggshell calciumcitrate preparation by PEF were3.0%citric acid,15kV/cm for electric fieldintensity, and6for total pulse number. The highest dissoluble eggshell calciumcitrate content calculated was7.119mg/mL. A desirable quadratic polynomialmathematical model was obtained with the following optimal extraction conditionfor the eggshell calcium citrate malate: the ratio of malic acid and citric acid (m/m)of2.0, the concentration of mixed acid of2.0%, the electric field intensity at 15kV/cm, and the total pulse number for6. The highest dissoluble calcium contentwas7.903mg/mL.3. The finding in the research of eggshell calcium organic acid absorption andutilization in miceThe current study was designed to investigate the subchronic toxicity of eggshellcalcium organic acid. And the results showed body weights increased rapidly, thenwere the trend of leveling off during the experiment. The body weights of group Ⅷincreased most quickly, and were heaviest. Absorption and utilization of five kinds ofcalcium’s chewable tablets was ideal in mice. Five kinds of calcium’s chewabletablets played positive role to each serum index. It showed five kinds of calcium’schewable tablets could promote femoral deposition and bone growth.
