The Clinical Study Of Treating Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (CPID) With XiaoYaoShuKun Decoction

Objective: To investigate the treatment and clinical effect of XiaoYaoShuKun Decoction on Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease(CPID) of qi stagnation and blood stasis. Methods:We selected 60 patients with CPID and devided them randomly into treatment group(30cases,treated with XiaoYaoShuKun Decoction) and control group (30cases ,treated with FuKeJing capsule). Symptoms and signs of each group were observed before and after the treatment.Meanwhile the levels of of the blood rheology,ESR and the size of the accessory inflammatory mass were measured and compared.Results:The total effective rate is 93.3% in the treatment group, while it is 90.0% in the control group, there is significant difference between them(p<0.01).In the aspect of improving symptoms and signs, the curative rate is 93.3% in the treatment group and 80.0% in the control group.Analyzed with statistic method, they are significantly different(p<0.01). The treatment group exceeded the control group in improving part of the indexes of blood rheology,ESR and minishing the size of the inflammatory mass(p<0.05).Conclusions: XiaoYaoShuKun Decoction is effective and safe in treating CPID of qi stagnation and blood stasis.
