| Objective: Through cross-sectional survey method to the groups of community organizations and institutions, we do some epidemic research on blood pressure, hypertension, prehypertension status and their risk factors. By analyzing cognitive status and weak links of the high-risk groups and hypertension patients, we try to provide scientific basis for the prevention of hypertension of northwest of Shandong Province. Methods: We do the research on the groups who are working in the national institutions, Pingyuan county, Dezhou that in the northwest of Shandong Province. Using a standard questionnaire collect baseline data, such as age, gender, habits, family history, personal history of chronic disease and treatment status etc. According to standardized measurement, we get the blood pressure. By aggregating data, analyze the epidemiological characteristics of the prehypertension, hypertension and its influencing factors. Results: (1) The average levels of Systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) of the research groups are 127mmHg and83mmHg. The male average SBP and DBP level are 132.9±15.9mmHg and 88.3±11.6mmHg; the female are 117.4±14.6mmHg and 76.4±9.8mmHg. The SBP and DBP level of the male are obviously higher than that of female. With age increased the SBP and DBP level get higher. (2) The prevalence of hypertension is 34.2%, the male is 52.1% and the female is 14.2%. The male is higher than that of the female(P<0.01). With age increased the prevalence of both male and female become higher. The 1,2,3-level hypertension of the survey area are23.5%,8.7%,2.0%. (3) The detection rate of prehypertension is 27.3%. The male is 30.0% and the female is 24.3%, which showed the male detection rate is higher than that of the female. The male detection rate get lower with increased age, while the female detection rate get lower after 40 years old. (4) Through single factor logstic regression analysis, we get that the age, sex, smoking, drinking, family history of hypertension, family history of coronary heart disease and dyslipidemia are risk factors of prehypertension; age, sex, smoking, drinking, family history of hypertension, family history of diabetes, family history of stroke, obesity, dyslipidemia are the risk factors of hypertension. Through multivariate factor logstic regression analysis, we get that age, sex, family history of hypertension and dyslipidemia are the risk factors of prehypertension; age, sex, smoking, drinking, family history of hypertension and dyslipidemia are the risk factors of hypertension. (5) The awareness, treatment, control rates of hypertension are 51.1%,31.6%,7.1%, the female is higher than that of the male. With age increased the awareness, treatment, control rates of both male and female get higher. Conclusion: (1) Hypertension and prehypertension of the groups who are working in the national institutions, Pingyuan County, Dezhou that in the northwest of Shandong Province is higher than that of the national level. awareness, treatment and control rates of hypertension are lower. Overall, prevalence of hypertension in this region is still in"one high three lows"(ie, high prevalence and low awareness, treatment and control rates) status. This maybe related with the region's diet habits and the nature of work of the people; The detection rate of prehypertension in this region is close to the national average. Early attention and to take effective preventive measures is important to prevent health groups to develop into hypertension. (2) Hypertension and prehypertension is interrelated.age, sex, Family history of hypertension and a history of dyslipidemia are the risk factors to both hypertension and high-normal blood pressure. |
