| Objective: Using the cross-sectional survey method, make a pre-investigation of the comparative study of artery elasticity between the crowd of prehypertension and hypertension in small samples ,making a preliminary discussion of the arterial elasticity in different blood pressure levels and the arterial elasticity changes in different types of syndrome between prehypertension and hypertension,which will provide a basis for further epidemiological investigation and research.Methods: With a small sample cross-sectional survey method in the crowd without major disease that in the range of on-the-job among agency unit of Pingyuan county in Shandong Province, then formulate strict dialectical standard operating procedures,in the form of survey to collect baseline information such as age,sex,weight,blood pressure heart rate and so on and quantitative data of classification syndrome. through standard questionnaire : [1]According to " Guiding Principles of new drug clinical research of Chinese medicine ",a single and resultant syndrome such as hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency ,deficiency of both yin and yang,syndrome of exuberance of liver fire and a single Phlegm Yong Sheng dampness are established as a standard sub-type. [2] The use of ET technology of ALOKA for carotid artery ultrasound testing, automaticly calculating carotid artery elastic parameters EP,β, PWVβ, AI and AC changes, comparative evaluation of artery stiffness of prehypertension and hypertension.Results: [1]Commom sydrom of the prehypertention are syndrome of exuberance of liver fir(e64/126) and syndrome of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency((44/126); Commom syndrome of the hypertention are syndrome of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency(124/375),syndrome of exuberance of liver fire(112/375)and deficiency of both yin and yang syndrome(76/375), but in view of other syndromes are smaller in sample size, yet could not confirm the above-mentioned syndromes constitute the clinical significance than that, though they are not included in the statistical range. [2] Differences ofβ, Ep, Ac, PWVβbetween hypertention and prehypertention group were significant statistical significance (P<0.01), comparing with prehypertention group AI of hypertention group has the increasing trend of high value, but the difference was not statistically significant. Comparing with prehypertention group, hypertension group,β, Ep, PWVβsignificantly increased, Ac significantly reduced. Differences ofβ, EP, PWVβgroup of prehypertention pressure and low blood pressure of it between the 1,2,3-level were significant statistical significance (P<0.01); EP, PWVβ, AC high normal blood pressure in the high value group 1,2,3-level and hypertension were significant differences between the statistically significant (P<0.01); PWVβlevel in the blood pressure between 1 and 2,3 statistically significant difference (P<0.05);β, EP, AC parameters between the three levels in the blood pressure difference was not statistically significant, AI parameters between the five groups was not statistically significant. [3]β, EP, AI, AC, PWVβparameters set in the prehypertention between the two syndromes, syndromes of hypertension among the three basic differences were not statistically significant, and the various syndromes changes in carotid artery parameters inconsistent between the syndrome is not yet reflect the changing trends of carotid artery elasticity. [4] In syndrome of exuberance of liver fire,β, EP, PWVβbetween prehypertention and hypertension parameters were statistically significant differences (P<0.05), AI and the AC difference was not statistically significant. In syndrome of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency EP, PWVβbetween prehypertention and hypertension increased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05),β, AI despite the increase, the difference was not statistically significant , AC decreased, the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusions: [1] The common syndrome of the prehypertention are exuberance of liver fire ,syndrome of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency . The common syndrome of the hypertension are exuberance of liver fire ,syndrome of hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency, deficiency of both yin and yang. [2] Comparing with prehypertention hypertention have carotid artery elasticity decreased, but the carotid artery elasticity differences of 1,2,3-level of hypertention, the low and high prehypertention were not significant. [3] The carotid artery elasticity of each syndrome of prehypertention and hypertension was not obvious different, but carotid artery elasticity of the same syndrome of the hypertension group decreased Comparing with prehypertention. [4] During assessment of carotid artery elasticity for hypertensive patients PWVβ, AC indicators are relatively insensitive. |
