A Survey About Medical Graduates Employers' Demand Behavior To Nursing Postgraduates In Jiangxi Province

Objective:Analysing situation of medical graduates employers'demand behavior to nursing postgraduates in Jiangxi province.Methods:Using quality research and quantity research together, part 1:on the basis of customer-relationship theory and human resource management theory, analysing conception of institutions'demand behavior to postgraduates to form structual review outline, then reviewing respondents to form questionnaires, part 2:according to questionnaires, researching institutions'demand behavior to nursing post graduates.Results:(1)Quality research:Quality research:according to quality research, the requirements of for nursing postgraduates are reduced to 20 items------nursing postgraduates'employment expectations, employment advantages, employment disadvantages, working-position setting, working-position formation, thought and ethic quality requirements, basic skills requirements, intellectual quality requirements, review approaches, mainly selective elements, orientation styles, orientation periods, career planning designation, salary distance among different educational degrees, social insurance payment situation, house funding payment situation and labor contact term, which is used to describe demand behavior of medical graduates employers.(2)Quantitative research:Distributive situation:the total number of nursing postgraduates among medical graduates employers in Jiang Xi province is few and those people only working in nursing schools and trinity medical and sanitary organizations; demand-behavior research:nursing schools (10%-50%) have higher expectation for nursing postgraduates than other two institutions(medical and sanitary organizations,0-1%; community sanitary service centers,0%). Among different medical graduates employers,the difference of choices to school review and media such as (the internet) advertising, the difference of choices to public formation and personnel agency, the choice to four kinds of training periods------(0,0.5] months, (0.5,1] months, (1,3] months, (6,+∞) months separately, whether having all-round career planning and the choice to the time deciding working position------in the interview or after a short training period are all statistically significant, P<0.01. Among the different medical graduates employers,the salary distance between college students and postgraduates is significant different,P<0.05.Moreover, it is also different for these institutions in the choice of nursing postgraduates'employment advantages, main selective elements and basic skills requirements.In contrast, there are no differences among these institutions to choose knowledge requirement. Furthermore, for the choice of nursing postgraduates'employment disadvantages, thought and ethic quality requirements and strengthening school employment direction, both medical and sanitary organizations and community sanitary service centers are very similar.Conclusion:According to the survey, as of 2010, there are employers mastering nursing postgraduates accounted for 6.9%of the total survey employers in Jiangxi Province, which focus on Nursing Colleges and the third class medical institution., the demand of the third class medical institution is larger than the second class medical institutions.The improved ways for medical graduates employers are weighting human-resource management, improving employee treatment, guiding nursing masters'career planning on the basis of offering work positions; widening employment approaches, employing more advanced nursing postgraduates, increasing the percentage of high-degree employees, satisfying perfect nursing-service requirement. For nursing master graduates, improving personal all-round quality and adjusting to the demand of social marketing are very important. At the meantime, universities ought to strengthen post graduates'education reformation, learning social requirement, enhancing employment direction so as to achieve the accordance between master of nursing education and institution requirements.
