A Study On Death Status And Burden Of Disease From Cardiovascular Diseases Among Residents In Zhangjiajie City During 2007-2009

Objective:In order to find out the epidemiology characteristic of mortality and the burden of diseases caused by cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases among residents living in Zhangjiajie, to provide the scientific basis for the healthcare policy—making, hygienic plan formulation, health resources deployment.Methods:Collect the deaths material of Zhangjiajie in hunan province in 2007 to 2009. using ICD-10 as the classification of death causes, analysis mortality and the burden of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Adopt PYLL(years of potential life lost) and WPYLL(working years of potential life lost)as the index of burden of diseases.Results:1. The burden of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (PYLL,WPYLL):men higher than women; city higher than country; There exists significant difference between different diseases, the PYLL and WPYLL caused by hypertension is higher than others, they are 2.42‰and 1.54‰; in 2007-2009 it's mortality and standardized death rate present a descending trend year by year; It follows months change,every march, April, November, December's value is the highest2. The burden of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (PYLL,WPYLL):men higher than women; city higher than country; There exists significant difference between different diseases, the PYLL and WPYLL caused by hypertension is higher than others, they are 2.42‰and 1.54‰; in 2007-2009 it's mortality and standardized death rate present a descending trend year by year; It follows months change,every march, April, November, December's value is the highest.Conclusions:1. Males and city dwells are more likely to dead from cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases among the Residents in zhangjiajie, the mortality rates of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases were increased with ages, and it is significant above the age of 60;In the 2007-2009 it has a downward trend, and it is higher in Spring and Summer than other seasons.2. In Zhangjiajie Males and city dwells suffered more than female(on the rates of potential years of life lost and working potential years of life lost).the PYLL and WPYLL caused by hypertension is higher than others,in 2007-2009 it presents a descending trend year by year,It follows months change,every march,April,Novemberand December's value is the highest...
