A Study On The Spatial - Temporal Evolution And Sustainable Development Of Population In Wumeng Mountain Area, Yunnan Province

As the core of sustainable development, the sustainable development of population is often referred to as population own the good state with moderate scale, high quality, reasonable structure, coordinate with resources and environment, and appropriate to the development of society and economy.Mountain area as an indispensable part of in the process of sustainable development in China, the sharp contradiction between human and land has been influenced it’s development, where poverty is very outstanding.This article selects Wumeng Mountain District in Yunnan province as the study area, discusses the space-time evolution of population and sustainable development on the basis of consulting a large number of literature material and using the experience of related theory, using these methods of data analysis, field survey and GIS integration, from the population change in the natural, social and economic changes, the change in migration, the relative carrying capacity of resources. Through the study we found that Yunnan Wumeng Mountain District population presents a number of characteristics, such as large scale an, speed growth,low quality,unreasonable structure,large population outflow,left-behind population. At the same time, the region also presents the relative resources carrying capacity is not high, population is serious overloading, the shortage of sustainable development ability. Investigate the reason, in addition to influenced by the natural conditions such as the awful weather, complicated geological environment, frequent disasters and weak land production capacity, Yunnan Wumeng Mountain District population is also effected by the social and economic conditions.for instance,the low regional economic development level, the slow urban industrial development,the blocking traffic, the development of social undertakings lags behind and the people thought idea trite etc.According to Yunnan Wumeng Mountain District special natural,social and economic environment characteristic and the present problems in the development of population, this paper puts forward these suggestions that control population growth, improve population quality, adjust the structure of population, to guide the rational flow of population, population layout optimization, improve countermeasures and carry capacity of population, in order to solve the contradictory of prominent people in the region and poverty, realize the sustainable development of the population finally.
