Web2.0 The Background Of Informal Learning Environments Research

With the development of network communication Technique, anytime and anywhere learning become new requirements for learners. Furthermore, the development of lifelong learning, comprehensive learning and learning society puts forward a greater challenge to space-time. How to achieve universal learning and build a learning society where the communication technique is highly developed, communication costs less and less becomes a hot spot of research.The statistics of the United States Bureau of Labor show that 70% of their knowledge on work is acquired through informal learning, which is the main way to acquire knowledge.This thesis which based on Web2.0 era, took full advantage of the current popular social networking as a system to realize platform, used mobile phones as a receiving terminal, and took SMS as a means of mobile communication, put forward the system design and realization of an important form of informal learning - mobile micro-learning in order to promote the individual informal learning better.This thesis firstly discussed the basic concepts, historical development and its main forms of "informal learning", historical development and its main form of learning; clarified the relation between informal learning and some related concepts such as mobile learning, ubiquitous learning; focused on the learning need, media design, communication means and the characteristics of mobile learning and micro-learning, which provided theoretical framework to follow-up design and development of mobile micro-learning system.Secondly, this thesis made an analysis of the relevant theories and technical features, stated some representative Web2.0 technology and network applications, and made a research about the education impact of network in order to provide theoretical reference and technical support to the design and development of micro-learning system.Finally, this thesis advanced the various elements of the building of informal learning environment and used the free SMS Platform - Fetion of China Mobile Communications Co. Ltd. to finish the mobile micro-learning systems design and development, which based on the current network programming technology and the popular SNS service platform—Ucenter in domestic.
