Design And Development Of Micro Learning System Based On Mobile Terminal

In recent years, towarding a learning society has gradually become the world's leading education thought. Countries have started theoretical research and practical exploration of lifelong learning, life long education and learning community. The next 5 years, Shanghai will spare no effort to push forward the building of a learning society, with "everyone learn, from time to time to learn, everywhere can learn" to reflect the blueprint for"everyone can be life-long learning" . So, we necessary to carry out extensive and in-depth study in the following aspects: study resources developments , lifelong learning networks construction,study community construction, learning support services, innovative life-long education system and so on. Which concern an important aspect is how to take full advantage of ubiquitous mobile communication technology for "from time to time to learn, everywhere can learn" to provide a seamless interface.Micro-learning is a new learning style the field of adult learning and training began to be concerned about In recent years. The "micro" can be the meaning of micro, small and light.Because of their mobility, carry it with him and the crowd has a high penetration rate, Mobile terminal equipment become an ideal learning platform, using it can realize at any time, anywhere to learn in some extent, but also provide the possibility for adults informal study in the sporadic time .This paper attempts to make preliminary discussion in the field of adult mobile micro-learning, and initial design and realize Micro Learning Platform which applicable to adult mobile informal learning. It is desirable that this paper could bring much better ideas into the development of informal learning in the process of mobile.This paper first discussed the concept and characteristics of informal learning, micro-learning, the mobile terminal equipment and some other related problems, thus put forward design principles of the micro-learning system suitable for mobile terminal equipment.And designed the technical and functional architecture of study system.Then, PHP language combining XHTML was used to developed the main functions of study system applicable to mobile terminalsuch as the background system management and front views. The final, this paper summed up a number of problems in the research process and proposed a future research direction.
